I dont know your meta, so might be a non-issue, put play tested your deck a couple of time. The turn you normal start to be able to really impact the board (defend yourself, attack etc) is turn 5 or 6. That is a bit late if your opponents are doing stuff those turns.

Your decks starts going after that but is still not doing anything insane. To really get things started you need to get to +t10

Id try lower your curve a bit. Replace some of these cards (not all) with things that ramp or have some impact early game. Reiver Demon , Lord of the Void , Exsanguinate , Army of the Damned , Dread Cacodemon , Demolition Stomper , Marionette Master , Gray Merchant of Asphodel , Spine of Ish Sah , Scour from Existence , Silverskin Armor , Revel in Riches , Demolition Stomper , Glaring Spotlight .

Some suggestion that gives you some early game plays Mind Stone , Palladium Myr , Voltaic Servant , Foundry Inspector , Vampire Nighthawk (people hate attacking in to that) Plague Myr , Filigree Familiar or really whatever mana stones you have at hand.

Hey, so it looks like you have stuffed the deck with ways to tap down your commander, but you're only untapping during your untap step for the most part, you should look into more untap affects. You have Saddlebags, which works, but I would look to add a few more; Staff of Domination , Umbral Mantle , Thornbite Staff , Thousand-Year Elixir , Paradox Engine , also there's Maze of Ith and Thaumatic Compass  Flip. Additionally, if you're going to be tapping and untapping creatures, creatures like Avatar of Woe and Visara the Dreadful , to get more value out of those untap affects. Also, take a look at some of the Crew costs. You are low on creatures, high on Vehicles. You'll always have access to King Macar, the Gold-Cursed , but there's no guarantee you'll have creatures with Power > 2 on the battlefield on in your hand so; Aradara Express , Ballista Charger , Bomat Bazaar Barge , Conqueror's Galleon  Flip, Consulate Dreadnought , Demolition Stomper , Fell Flagship , Heart of Kiran , Irontread Crusher , Skysovereign, Consul Flagship , and Weatherlight , all are likely dead cards on the battlefield, unable to be crewed. Also, Magus of the Coffers will be high value as well, generating mass amounts of mana while also being able to untapped by untappers. You also might want to look into adding some more card draw, you have Greed , but perhaps Bloodgift Demon , Pain Seer , and Dark Tutelage are solid options. I know some of my suggestions are expensive, but I'm just trying to help optimize, and efficient untappers are going to be expensive because they're rarer.

During the last weeks, I made several changes to this deck. First of all, I have to handle spells, which can be dangerous for me, so

+4 Cancel

+3 Duress

To be faster, I removed vehicles with bigger cost:

-2 Demolition Stomper

I also removed the vehicles / creature cards, which are weaker in my opinion

-1 Cultivator's Caravan

-2 Foundry Screecher

I also removed a card, which wasn't really helpful during game

-2 Morbid Curiosity

I had a VERY similar deck to this back before shadows rotated, mine was mono-red, take a look, Mechanical Madness maybe you'll be inspired ;)

Have you considered tossing in Demolition Stomper? I used to use Lupine Prototype to crew it before it rotated.

Gearshift Ace -> Sram, Senior Edificer, you will run out of fuel too quick

Demolition Stomper -> Consulate Dreadnought, 6 cmc vehicle just won't work.

Chief of the Foundry -> Veteran Motorist, vehicles are big without help of the chief, veteran can crew heart of kiran + scry is always nice

Aerial Modification - just no, no, no, no. Siege modification is okay cause its 3CMC, Start Your Engines might be better choice.

I really like the main combo of this deck. Lupine Prototype into a Demolition Stomper is an interesting work around lupine's ability, especially because lupine become an easy choice for Fling; however, this becomes an issue because you really don't want to have to fling your lupine before you can use it to crew on turn 6. Perhaps adding other vehicles in to make use of lupine earlier. This also helps make Start Your Engines a more worthwhile card.

4 of Hazoret the Fervent seems a bit of over kill. Especially because he will mostly be a discard outlet for you. Sitting on 12 cards in your deck that are 4+ mana seems a bit risky as well but I agree with Vyto in that Sin Prodder could be an interesting mechanic.
