Hot Soup Discussion

Ok! Sorry I missed you already have Prowler's Helm ! I also totally get the unfavorability of Hot Soup but A) it’d hilarious and B) I’ve personally won games with it. Of course this isn’t meant to say your points still don’t stand cause equip 3 is a lot. I just think most people will underestimate it’s power if they’re not slinging non-combat damage with ease.
A counter-suggestion to Stormtide Leviathan + Part Water ... how about Wonder and Filth + Buried Alive . You don’t necessarily need Buried Alive but it’s an enabler for the other two to automatically work. And I would personally take out Wingcrafter and Jace's Phantasm for them.
All 3 of the “Extra Turn” spells are dope, but in the name of practicality I would probably take out the weaker 1 or 2 for Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top as they fit into the theme of manipulating the top of your library and they will also get you out of trouble a majority of the time.
What do you think?

I think Heartstone helps cut ninjitsu costs.

Hello fellow Skullbriar player,
I like your deck-list a lot! I like how you are running Triumph of the Hordes . I never really thought of going that direction for a win. You’re also running a lot more creatures which is cool to see!
Skullbriar for me, is the perfect deck to throw a bunch of combat trick stuff and janky pumps/unblockables like: Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip, Hot Soup , Prowler's Helm , Epic Proportions , Gigantomancer , Emergent Growth , Berserk , Hatred , Hunt the Weak , Trailblazer's Boots , Burst of Strength , Might of Oaks and Enlarge (so hilarious to pull-off). Here is my Skullbriar brew
Hope some of that helps!

I think Nether Traitor is a must in an aristocrat deck. Maybe you could also give Dark Prophecy a shot since it doesn't require the creatures to be non-tokens like Grim Haruspex does. With how much lifegain you're currently running, I wouldn't be too worried about the downside. If it really is worrisome, maybe throw Deathgreeter .
Other cards I'd consider are Smothering Abomination as well as Ophiomancer . Considering how Ophiomancer is written, you basically grant Yahenni indestructible permanently all the while keeping a 1/1 deathtouch chump blocker.
As for your other concerns in letting Yahenni hit your opponents, I'd recommend Whispersilk Cloak , Hot Soup , Suspicious Bookcase , Trailblazer's Boots and Loxodon Warhammer (I'd assume your Yahenni gets huge so it being blocked no longer becomes an issue, + massive lifegain is always fun).
Then again, equipments make for a more voltron based Yahenni, which is not what you're trying to do. Either way, thought I'd share :)
Have fun !

Hi_diddly_ho_neighbor these are all good suggestions, I'm gonna playtest the deck on Friday after I build it IRL. See what changes need to be made form there, thanks!
t3hdarkness Oh I didn't even consider it for counter removal, but ya he's a land until the slumber counters are gone. Assault Suit really enables him to get someone to commander damage very quickly, especially if he happens to have a Whispersilk Cloak equipped afterwards lmao

This list as of now is definitely below €100. Although I'm using part of my cardpool, there were no "meh" cards added just to save money. Maybe just get Trailblazer's Boots instead of Hot Soup; the rest is really fine for a first version!

Really cool concept and I look forward to playing against this.
And 3-5 more bounce cards and counterspells to keep yourself viable.
I'll try to take another look later.
