Sorry, Stitcher's Graft, not the deck.

StuBi Yeah, Stitcher's Graft on Sylvan Advocate until eventually I got it at 7/8 with 6 lands. During that time I Thraben Inspector'd for Tireless Tracker until he was 6/5. Then they played 2 Sram's Expertise with Anointed Procession after they Declaration in Stoned the Sylvan Advocate and I didn't draw anything to counter in the next turns. The second game I was mana screwed so that went down quickly!

Thanks for that.

Marvel decks did not worry me or Argy at all.

With the 2-0 match, in the second game he got all four of his Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger on the field.

I hit one with Declaration in Stone, one with Cast Out, continually blocked one with a melded Brisela, Voice of Nightmares which had Stitcher's Graft attached and, when he finally dispatched that, he couldn't afford to attack with his last one because he was only on four life and I was on 15. I had Sylvan Advocate out, which was pumped up to 4/5.

Eventually I put Archangel Avacyn  Flip on the field and he had nothing to block it, and no way to destroy it.

After it was all over he said, "That's a tough deck to beat."

All credit to Argy. She builds all my stuff.

I must admit that I won't miss the Marvel matchup, due to how dull it was.

Well that's weird.

I've played this deck for four seasons now and it's done really well.

I even beat a Marvel deck 2-0 that cheated out all four of Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger.

How did you Sideboard?

Did you attach Stitcher's Graft as a priority?

I don't think you can really link things properly in chat.

I looked at that list, but it is SO not me.

It was as though someone asked me what all my least favourite cards were, in Standard, and then put them all into one deck!

I built a Ramp deck around the time of M15.

It used Liliana Vess as a tutor and ramped into Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Garruk, Apex Predator.

One night I was able to ultimate all three Planeswalkers in one game. The player sitting next to me was killing himself with laughter. I wasn't a very good player in those days, so it was kind of funny.

To me the joy of Magic isn't really copying other people's ideas, so I'm not really interested in the Pro decks, other than to test against.

Sure I might borrow an idea here or there, but the bones of all my decks come from looking at cards that interest me, and thinking about how I can make a deck with them that will work.

I often build decks around just one card. That's how Angelic High came together.

Stitcher's Graft was spoiled and I came up with an idea thay worked for StuBi.

By the way, he beat Temur Marvel with Angelic High 2-0, the other night.

In one game Marvel brought all four of its Ulamogs on to the field.

Anyway, that's along rant from me. It's late here.

I will double down on what Monochromacy said. Run Stitcher's Graft Main board for your Exertable creatures. This deck seems pretty brutal once everything is set up.

what about Blessed Alliance or Hazoret the Fervent? blessed alliance has a lot of flexibility to get rid of early creatures when your opponent only has one, or it can allow you to untap an exert creature to block. Anyway you can break the drawback of the exert mechanic is worth at least considering. Hazoret the Fervent is great for this deck because it's a late game decider when you can throw it in, discard a card, and it can attack immediately. To make that happen, I also have a Lightning Axe in my RW exert deck. But I just love that card. Also consider putting in Stitcher's Graft, it can buff up an exert creature that wouldn't untap next turn anyway. Hope this helps!
