Stitcher's Graft Discussion
Homura_Akemi - Yes, I have tested with Mimic and its a very good card in this deck. I will likely swap out the Throne of the God-Pharaohs with Metallic Mimics. I just have to do a little more testing and see what consistently delivers more damage by turn 4.
Didolysquat - The original RW Humans deck that I started testing with looks just like what you have. I have tweaked it for maximum aggro damage by turn 5 so I opted for the Stitcher's Graft over Always Watching . Also, with Eerie Interlude, your board state actually gets better when you have cards like Thalia's Lieutenant or Metallic Mimic out because they all see each other when they return and ETB counters get even better. It's worth sacrificing a couple tokens. I do think I'll add Cast Out to the SB to get rid of Gideon though.

pax.wellington this deck suits my local meta perfectly.
I've been too lazy to write match reports, but I consistently end up in the top 3 at FNM.
Melding is not the main aim of this deck. It is a nice bonus.
If I made all the changes you suggested I would basically be playing a different deck.
Stitcher's Graft isn't essential to win, either. That's the thing about this deck - there are multiple paths to winning.
I've been playing this deck for three seasons now, so I have tonnes of real world experience with it.

Another way to meld quickly is by self-milling and tutoring Bruna, the Fading Light from your graveyard. Gisela, the Broken Blade returns from her cast trigger, as she will likely already be in the graveyard. In the mean-time:
It's up to you, but definitely in maybe . Grapple with the Past and Pulse of Murasa for the tutor, and maybe even Splendid Reclamation/Nissa's Renewal for much needed ramp. Emeria Shepherd is similarly great.
If you haven't tested this angle I recommend it. Your current iteration of this deck is a more general Selesnya-midrange only with Brisela, Voice of Nightmares on the roof, but no ramp.
And I understand the synergy between Always Watching and Stitcher's Graft, but it's vulnerable to any Naturalize effect. At the least basically 2-for-1'ing you consistently. Probably why it isn't seen in a lot of Standard decks these days.
Just food for thought - I'm brewing in these colours and experimented a lot with similar cards :)

What matters to me the most are decent Standard cards.
I like to see either a new theme that I can build around, like Vehicles, or a recurring theme that I love to play, like Minotaurs, Dragons, Artifacts, etc.
There need to be cards that interest me, but would probably not be popular with other people.
I am interested in the story, depending on what it is.
Eldrazi vs Allies was easy for me to follow. As was the entrance of Emrakul.
I like to see good cards primarily.
If they can play with any colour other than I am happy.
I am also interested to see if any new cards will strengthen my Commander decks.

@Ragham - Thank you for taking the time to enlighten me. In this new light Champion of Rhonas does not look really that valueable and might even be a disadvantage, because Samut, Voice of Dissent and Glorybringer would be in play without attacking, but open for sorcery-speed removal. At this point I will remove the last two copies of him from the deck. Heroic Intervention and Blossoming Defense are on my watchlist and I will think about them for this deck.
@Vectro98 - Battlefield Scavenger might be worth a thought, but I kinda want the idea still going on, that all my 2cmc creatures have the potential to not just be 2/2. His filtering might be worth it though. I will look into addtional sources of carddraw. The idea to cut Lone Rider Flip and Odric, Lunarch Marshal is understandable and I will look into it. What I do not agree with is the removal of Prepare / Fight. The untap at instant speed as well as the lifelink are relevant to keep blockers open, exert useable and have enough sustain to reach into the mid- to lategame, that is the main focus of the deck. That there is a 'removal' - spell tagged on is just and added advantage. Shock is definitly a consideration, as is Harnessed Lightning. Harsh Mentor might be a good idea, especially against most established decks.

dimmer winner dinner is a deck i built specifically for weird combo of exiling creatures to play them, funny to run across this list right after. Lost Legacy? Harmless Offering fits nicely with an Abyssal Persecutor. Lich's Mirror + Demonic Pact or Immortal Coil ? Phage the Untouchable. Transcendence! Harmless Offering + Midnight Oil + Vampire Hexmage. Spinal Parasite. Spellbook or Stitcher's Graft? I've always wanted to see what kinds of builds are possible with Neurok Transmuter. Is Isochron Scepter too popular/not wild enough for this?

I feel like this might be better as a Glaze Fiend/Salvage Slasher/Salvage Titan/Vault Skirge/Stitcher's Graft aggro setup with Nihil Spellbomb/ Bottle Gnomes/Golden Urn/Glaring Spotlight/Gremlin Mine/Ratchet Bomb sideboard, or packing a more aggressive suite of disruption (Duress, Vendetta. Dismember etc) to survive casting bigger creatures.Good luck with the testing- here is my big list of regularly played cards, by no means complete Mono black deckbuilder's toolbox.
