A Pile of Cards We Own

Draft this Cube Open pack Create Sealed Copy

Description

The cube that Scorprix, Mortem, Revwar2, bestracer985, and I made. Archetypes are as follows:

W/U: Slow/grindy midrange

W/B: Flex/goodstuff

W/R: Tokens

W/G: Slightly faster midrange

U/B: Control

U/R: Spell-based/spellslinger

U/G: "True" midrange

B/R: Very fast/suicide aggro

B/G: Graveyard-based

G/R: Stompy

(If you know what a cube is and how to use it, just skip the rest of this, the rest of the description is an explanation for the new cubers I'll be playing with)

Cube works just like a normal draft, except that you have to give the cards back at the end. We'll need you to give us 45 cards at the end of the draft. The "packs" are made from 15 random cards from the above list, and it just works like a normal draft.

But seriously, I think we should work on the archetypes a bit. W/G should be tokens instead of W/R, which I think should be ETB tribal, W/B could be "dies" tribal...or something (not sure). W/U should probably be more along the lines of prison than slow midrange, though that's not very fun to play against. U/G doesn't feel like the colors to be midrange, but I don't know what else it could be so I guess that stays for now.

The tricolor cards could also probably be changed around a bit (Really don't want to get into another argument about Flying Crane Technique though...). I really think we should put in shard cards as well.

Esper: Probably Oloro.

Bant: Tamiyo, Field Researcher. Wargare is another good option, don't think we have one though.

Naya: Wolly Thoctar. Boring, but probably the best, Meglonoth is a more interesting second choice.

Grixis: Cruel Ultimatum.

Jund: Broodmate Dragon.
