Destroy all nonland creatures.
Awaken 4— (If you cast this spell for , also put four +1/+1 counters on target land you control and it becomes a 0/0 Elemental creature with haste. It's still a land.)

Planar Outburst Discussion

golgariassassin666 did you read the discription? I'm not a control player and this is just a template for a budget build of Azorius Control without breaking the bank. Planar Outburst is used to control the board, and Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Gideon Blackblade are like secondary win conditions once the board is cleared.

Fumigate , previously Planar Outburst did really well in standard, but the Pioneer meta will definitely be different. It may belong in the sideboard depending on the amount of creature-heavy decks that occupy the format, I haven't tested it enough to make that call yet. Thanks for the input!

Please link all cards in your question using double brackets.
Depending on the wording of the other thing animating the land it could either revert to it's previous P/T or revert to an inanimate land. If it was a man-land like Wandering Fumarole animated by it's own ability it will revert to being a land because both effects will have ended. If it is a spell or ability like Awaken ( Planar Outburst ) or Nissa, Worldwaker that doesn't have an end it will revert to the animated land. The Sylvan Awakening will overwrite the stats of older effects but will not remove them.

Why not Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper ? You commander makes your lands into threats even as you're casting spells to protect them. There are things like Terra Eternal and Sacred Ground that keep them in play, board wipes like Hour of Revelation and Planar Outburst kill everything but them. Blue White also lets you run counter magic to keep your opponents from wiping the board

Austere Command is relatively cheap (less the $5) and provides you with great flexibility as to what you want to destroy. Forced March could be very interesting is this deck, but is heavy on the black mana. A Day of Judgment will set you back just 2 or 3 bucks. End Hostilities is cheaper still and takes out equipment for one CMC more. Fumigate is the same CMC for $2. Another 5 CMC card is Planar Outburst and it is cheap!Nevinyrral's Disk is cheap, but takes a turn to activate. Then there's good old Akroma's Vengeance and Deadly Tempest can be had for $2 or less, but Extinguish All Hope is less and you also have Planar Cleansing, although it's heavy on the white mana.
Hope this helps!

I think you mean Planar Outburst, not planar cleansing in the description.

Outlast is a bit of a problematic ability--it requires a fair bit of mana investment, and you have to tap down a creature. Since you've built your deck around this theme, you could probably benefit from some cards to protect your investments.
To that end, Apostle's Blessing and Blossoming Defense will keep your creatures safe from enemy targeted spells, though neither will save you from the most common wrath effects. Dauntless Escort can be added to your sideboard, and sacrificed to protect your creatures from Wraths. Lightning Greaves would provide more long-term protection.
On a related note, Planar Outburst is counterproductive. If you are investing large amounts into your creatures, killing them all is not necessarily your best bet.
