The set of Legends introduced both Legendary creatures and multi-coloured cards into the game. More important is the second for the sake of this comment.

Dakkon Blackblade , of the same set as Halfdane , oddly adheres to what we see today of the ordering, being .

Lady Evangela bears the mana cost of .

More inconsistencies can be seen in Sol'kanar ()and Tetsuo Umezawa (), Xira Arien () and Vaevictis (), and, lastly, Angus () and Ragnar ().

Oddly enough, all of the four Naya legends ( Johan , Jacques , Palladia-Mors , and Hazezon Tamar) have the same colour ordering.

All of the two-colour combinations (except for Rakdos ?) are backwards from what we see today, yet are all constant.

The Dark's Scarwood Gobbo () is similar to Legends' mana costs, an ensample being The Lady of the Mountain () (my favourite card of all time).

The afield system seems to have been rectified in Ice Age, for it had Centaur Archer (), Diabolic Vision (), and Chromatic Armor ().

(Legends had Jedit Ojanen ())

My concensus here is that WOTC did not have much of a grasp as to amounts and mana costs in the debut set, whereupon inconsistencies may be seen about the expansion, yet they righted this two releases later.

Not much is actually in this comment, but others may use this information as they wish to sieve through Magic's multi-coloured monstrosities.

AEther Barrier - While it doesn't help you further your voltron strategy, it does slow down your opponents, 1 mana every creature can be very detrimental to plenty decks, unless you find yourself facing other voltron decks.

Ana Sanctuary - A simple 3 mana enchantment that will buff Tuvasa, though the fact it triggers on upkeep might be a downside if you cast it the turn you plan to go off.

Ashes of the Abhorrent - A good graveyard-hate card.

Bonds of Mortality - If you find yourself having to deal with a lot of hexproof or indestructible creatures.

Chromatic Armor - Might be worthwhile to play

I don't fully understand why you run no Artifacts...there's some that are definitely worth playing like the staple, Sol Ring or Mana Crypt (If you've explained it in the primer, I must have missed it, in which case, my bad)

Counterbalance - If you're fighting stax, tell em to go shove it with this beauty

Hope this is of some use to you, +1

Athreos, God of Passage is an incredible card to get out for free with your commander. Chromatic Armor and Circle of Despair to give your commander a surprise protection when they try to stop it. Detention Sphere exile a card on attack? Witchcraft! Righteous War for extra protection. Steel of the Godhead to make commander a lifelink unblockable.
