Assert Authority
Instant
Affinity for artifacts (This spell costs (1) less to play for each artifact you control.)
Counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, remove it from the game instead of putting it into its owner's graveyard.

You should put in Mechanized Production and Render Silent, you could use some card draw like Paradoxical Outcome and Thoughtcast, really you'd dig anything with "Affinity for artifacts" like Qumulox, Assert Authority, and Broodstar I'd cut Platinum Angel because it's like $5 and you're usually budgeted

I like this idea a lot. Some ideas to help you out. Lay of the Land for some cheap basic land retrieval. Vedalken Shackles for a new way to steal creatures, but only if you have a good Island base. With the number of artifacts you have and need a counterspell aside from...well Counterspell I recommend Assert Authority or Override. Finally with the number of instants and sorceries I recommend Primal Amulet Flip, get it to flip and you can copy a lot of your powerful instants and sorceries.

I think Stoic Rebuttal is straight better than Assert Authority. Unless the exile effect is very important

Oh yeah, Assert Authority and Thoughtcast definitely make the list.

Artifact decks always have a special place in my heart. When I saw your decklist I thought up a few interesting suggestions that could add some big beefy threats to the mix, and accelerate your deck like...ten fold. Most of the suggestions are going to come from a set near and dear to my heart: Mirrodin. This set had an amazingly broken mechanic called Affinity for Artifacts. Additionally, i'm going to suggest cards that take advantage of the fact that you have so many artifacts.
- Broodstar
- Frogmite
- Myr Enforcer
- Cranial Plating + Ornithopter
- Assert Authority
- Thirst for Knowledge
- Thoughtcast (one of my favorites)
I know these cards are basically taking your deck in a whole different direction...but they are amazing. What are your thoughts?

what is the point in playing cards like Assert Authority and Stoic Rebuttal, when you havent got cards like Counterspell and Disallow, the only point in playing Stoic Rebuttal is as a second Counterspell, dont play it over Counterspell just because of the synergy.
I would also recommend including more mana rocks and the Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo

I'm not sure if you're aware (you probably are), but because of the "Planeswalker uniqueness rule", you can't have a Master of Metal AND a Schemer out at the same time, because they all have the subtype of Tezzeret. You would have to send one to your graveyard if you had two at once.
Also, if we're talking about Tezzeret Planeswalkers, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas is the way to go. This one is exactly what you're looking for, and that Ultimate will ruin anyone.
You don't need Whir of Invention. Trinket Mage won't put the artifacts directly onto the board, but it tutors really well and gives board presence. Plus your artifacts are CMC 0, so it doesn't really matter.
I would also suggest an alternate win-con aside from Tezzeret, because you have no means of defending your enchantments (cough Assert Authority), and if those get removed then you're left with artifacts that deal little to no damage. Something like Master of Etherium could work here, especially since he'll boost your creatures.

Thoughtcast and Assert Authority look cool, and could clearly make use of several artifacts in play, but in Mono-Blue Tron most of the artifacts are huge (except for the Expedition Maps).
Our plan is to get blue mana soon and use the control spells heavily at the beginning of the game, while assembling Tron.
We want our counter spells to be as cheap as possible and lots of draw. Our favorite control spells are cheap cantrips which allow us to keep drawing for "free".
Using artifacts in your hand to cover part of the price of Thirst for Knowledge is ok, as you will most probably will have some or draw some while resolving.
Thanks for the upvote and the comment... I will keep updating the deck as I slowly get more of the typical expensive cards of U Tron (like a couple copies of Chalice of the Void I would love to get some day)
