Blinkmoth Infusion Discussion

I can confirm that I've beaten an ~$3k Najeela, Shuffle Hulk deck via Aetherflux Reservoir + Future Sight after reaching storm count 8 and bolting a player for 50 damage. Once Blinkmoth Infusion was revealed the rest of the table scooped, hehe! The game did manage to make it to turn 7 or 8 before the storm began though.

Homelessguy Thank you! I've been trying to get a Lim-Dul's Vault for the deck, but the new print (with way better art than Alliances) has been surprisingly tough to get. It's definitely on my list for improvements. Cunning Evasion is one from MH I've considered, but haven't tried yet. With multiplayer, it's very uncommon to have no "soft" target for Yuriko herself to swing at, so having to work around blockers comes up quite rarely.
I haven't quite gone in for the common super CMC spells such as Draco and Blinkmoth Infusion , as I want to avoid cards which don't serve any purpose other than Yuriko flips. Blightsteel Colossus and Darksteel Colossus are unique in their ability to reshuffle themselves in, as I can toss them to hand size and then tutor them back to the top the next turn (or possibly even in between activations, if I have Frantic Search to discard them).

Hi there! My Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is part ninja tribal, part topdeck matters, and it is aggresive enough to win turn 5-6 (no infinite combos). Goal of the deck is to show fat cmc cards from the top with Yuriko or other ninjas (or creature type shenanigans) and kill the table with Yuriko's ability.
To kill the table, you need to have 3 triggers and tutor 3 cards. Insidious Dreams is the best way to tutor. Some combination of Lim-Dul's Vault Mystical Tutor Vampiric Tutor Personal Tutor Imperial Seal and Brainstorm Scroll Rack
Note that most of those can and should be played instant speed with yuriko triggers already on the stack. You tutor for: Commit / Memory Temporal Trespass Blinkmoth Infusion Draco Treasure Cruise Draco and Blinkmoth Infusion should go last, unless you go for the win, as they are unplayable. 30 damage to each opp with just 2 triggers is really fun.
Out Aqueous Form
I want to increase ninja number >> higher damage output and swapping Okiba-Gang Shinobi with Ninja of the Deep Hours - draw is better, than discard.
Also corrected custom categories.
1.3 Moar ninjas, less draw, replaced one xtra turn with Time Warp
1.4 Added more interaction, maximized my top CMC spells, added some expensive proxy cards.

ChrisNicolella To be perfectly honest I haven't thought about it in a while so I need to remember a couple lines, and I'm not 100% sure this list is up to date (it seems to be missing a card). However, the main pile is pretty straightforward.
With at least 3 ninjas capable of dealing combat damage in one turn, pile (from the top down):
1 - Draco
4 - Anything
5 - No, really, anything
Get 3 triggers and the table loses 41.
I know I worked in a pile that sets up a Nexus of Fate loop with an unblockable Yuriko for infinite life loss but I can't remember off the top of my head. You could also fit in a standard Lab Man pile if you wanted to, which would have the benefit of going off with less initial requirements but would require more "dead" cards, and you use Yuriko as a guaranteed way to crack the pile.

AlwaysAblaze Thank you for commenting! The name isn't the greatest, but I refer to it as Bant burn because I use the cards Blinkmoth Infusion (Blue) and Autochthon Wurm (White/Green) in conjunction with the red burn spells to "burn" my opponents with Bant colored cards.

Jhoira is kind of an all in CMDR here are some suggestions in that all in route. Your mana curve is way too high you need to take out all of your mana rocks that are 3 and above. Take out all of your creatures except the mana reducers, 0 mana ones, Scrap Trawler, and Walking Ballista. Metalworker and Lotus Bloom is honestly way too slow. Take out Storm the Vault Flip Power Artifact Alhammarret's Archive Thoughtcast Blinkmoth Infusion Wayfarer's Bauble Jaya's Immolating Inferno Cyclonic Rift. And go down to like 25 lands.
And then just put in Semblance Anvil Chromatic Sphere Codex Shredder Helm of Awakening Memory Jar Windfall Wheel of Fortune Chain of Vapor Mental Misstep Myr Retriever Frantic Search Gamble Riddlesmith Tormod's Crypt Artificer's Intuition Sensei's Divining Top Defense Grid Pentad Prism Junk Diver Force of Will Ponder Preordain Aether Spellbomb Pyrite Spellbomb Void Snare Red Elemental Blast Pyroblast and slot in any number of counter spells and bounce spells...
these are just a few suggestions think of them what you will. But just know that Jhoia is going to be targeted super hard. A lot of the cards are just win more cards but the things is that once you ever get to resolve a jhoria and play a turn it should be a guaranteed win. And your only other trouble will be taxes and or stax pieces like Blind Obedience and those will basically make your lose almost 100% unless you have removal which you don't have enough.

This is awesome. This is so awesome. If only Gleemax were Modern-legal.
However, Blinkmoth Infusion and Autochthon Wurm are, and although they only cost 15 (hah, only), most people tend to kick their own butt in Modern with shock lands and fetch lands and Thoughtseize, so 15 will probably be enough. (Obviously, OG Emmy is far better than those two, but she costs a lot more money, and you're not even casting her, so who cares.)
