Hixus, Prison Warden
Legendary Creature — Human Soldier
Flash (You may cast this spell at any time you could cast an instant.)
Whenever a creature deals combat damage to you, if Hixus, Prison Warden entered the battlefield this turn, exile that creature until Hixus leaves the battlefield. (That creature returns under its owner's control.)

Specific changes. All of these changes optimize card draw, tutoring, protection to board state, create synergies and infinite combos, and optimization to allow instant speed responses.
OUT: Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist (thought this would be awesome, disappointed in performance) Assemble the Players (sub-optimal card draw) Aurelia's Fury Bitterthorn, Nissa's Animus (land drops have not been a problem and by the time I draw it, I needed something else) Brimaz, King of Oreskos (love this guy, but had to cut) Chained to the Rocks Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip (obtained better equipment) Fellwar Stone Hixus, Prison Warden (never happy when I had this in hand because you need to let the damage land, plus you fail to build board state when waiting to draw a punch) Illusionist's Bracers (I realized there was little in this deck that this could help) Kemba, Kha Enduring (I want the option of where the equipment goes) Kjeldoran Outpost (did help create a chump blocker and spend unused mana, but I didn't like losing the land) Lapse of Certainty (replaced with better options, but I love this card) Lightning Helix Path of Mettle Flip (never had good results) Prophetic Flamespeaker (under-performed) Puresteel Paladin (tough cut) Purphoros, God of the Forge (under-performed) Rogue's Passage Sea Gate Wreckage Silverblade Paladin (love this guy, tough cut) Sram, Senior Edificer (very tough and recent cut for Leonin Shikari and Merry, who are just better but I may put back in) Sword of the Animist (land drops have not been a problem and by the time I draw it, I needed something else) Wingmate Roc (love it but under-performed)
In: Esper Sentinel (card draw) Leonin Shikari (instant speed equiping is amazing) Merry, Esquire of Rohan (card draw) Enlightened Tutor (great for combos/synergies) Sigarda's Aid (so great) Pyrohemia (this card is a beast with Iroas! Even without Iroas must people don't have easy ways to deal with enchantments and this is a wraith on a stick. I've added it to all of my red decks and it's cousin (Pestilence) to my black decks in a slot I would normally hold for a wraith) Teferi's Protection (protect the board state) Excalibur, Sword of Eden Fighter Class (tutor!) Angelic Skirmisher (lifelink to stretch game and facilitates infinite combos) Splendor Mare (put it on Reckoner or Spitemare, give them indestructable, and gain infinite life, or move it to pyrohemia with nesting grounds to get massive amounts of life as you flamethrower the whole table!!) Mask of Avacyn (better option then shroud from boots, you need to be able to dynamically react/voltron) Mob Rule (this just finishes games) Smothering Tithe (ramp) Sunforger (some say you must build around this, I say you use this as a key tutor for when you need an instant) Nesting Grounds Spitemare The One Ring (card draw, duh) Minas Tirith (card draw) Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion (value engine, mana dump) Phyrexian Vindicator (beefy flier, helps get Iroas online, and difficult to remove) War of the Last Alliance (tutor) Hall of Heliod's Generosity (bring back pyrohemia and flamethrower the world all over again!!) Mask of Memory (card draw) Boromir, Warden of the Tower (protect board state)

You can link cards by enclosing them in double brackets [ ].
This just makes it easier for everyone to know what's happening :)
Since they are exiled until the permanent returns, they will not be exiled by the trigger of the permanent you put into the graveyard as a result of the legend rule.
This is usually found on the rulings of the cards themselves, but Abdel apparently doesn't have it, so here are some similar cards.
- "If Chained to the Rocks leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, the target creature won't be exiled. (2013-09-15)"
- "If Suspension Field leaves the battlefield before its enters-the-battlefield ability resolves, the target creature won’t be exiled. (2014-09-20)"
- "If Hixus leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, the creature that dealt combat damage to you won’t be exiled. (2015-06-22)"
- "If Grasp of Fate leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, no nonland permanents will be exiled. (2015-11-04)"

My Hixus, Prison Warden deck would appreciate this subtype.
Also, most cards with warden in the name are green or white, but blue 3rd, and black last.

Queen Marchesa doesn't have a clear single way to build so you have lots of options. However, I feel like said you want to play her like the Kween she is and create a royal court full of politicin' and group interaction to make all the boys whine. I don't think you want to discourgage people from taking the monarch from you, more encourage them to swing others IE: NO Ghostly Prisons, YES Teysa effects. Punish the ones who swing you only after the fact and reward the ones who swing others. There is a lot listed!
Politic theme links to Scryfall searches Monarch, Will of the Council, Council's Dilemma, Join Forces, Curses, Tempting offer, Goad

Update: I decided to make a Hixus, Prison Warden Oblivion Ring Tribal deck for the meme of it and it seems like a lot of fun so far. I want to get an alter of Hixus that's just the Monopoly "Go To Jail" tile.

Play lots of artifact ramp so you can afford your dinosaurs.
Red-White has lots of great creatures for attacking, like Aurelia, the Warleader, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran, Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, Tajic, Blade of the Legion, Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder, Akiri, Line-Slinger, Adriana, Captain of the Guard, Anya, Merciless Angel, Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas, Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Darien, King of Kjeldor, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Hixus, Prison Warden, Mikaeus, the Lunarch, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Odric, Master Tactician, Homura, Human Ascendant, and Urabrask the Hidden.
Good dinosaurs include Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Etali, Primal Storm, Bellowing Aegisaur, Goring Ceratops, Temple Altisaur, and Relentless Raptor. Iroas prevents damage to attacking creatures so Enrage effects on your dinosaurs won't trigger much.

DemonDragonJ on Core Set Legendary Creatures By …

Since I have already created threads that list commanders and planeswalkers by home plane, I shall now create a thread that lists legendary creatures who have appeared in core sets by home plane.
As with my previous lists, I shall first list the planes known to be home to at least one legendary creature who has appeared in a core set alphabetically by name, and then list each legendary creature from that plane who has appeared in a core set alphabetically by name. If that creature is from a specific region of that plane or is a member of a specific faction on that plane, I shall list that region or faction in parenthesis after their name.
