Cho-Manno, Revolutionary Discussion

@Cloudius, thanks for the suggestions, and the link to your deck. I like your build. I like the enchantments you have that do the removal thing, too. The more I play the deck, the more I will look into moving some of that stuff into my deck. I also thought about running with Pariah and something like Cho-Manno, Revolutionary to really be a pain in the ass.

I wasn't aware of Satyr Enchanter, which is more good card draw. Thanks for the suggestions! +1 for your deck.

What's your philosophy here? What do you want your deck to do?

Bound in Silence fits better than Pacifism since you can tutor for it. Same thing with Big Game Hunter over one of your kill spells. Pious Warrior and Shield Dancer make pretty good surprise blockers too.

Junktroller, Mistveil Plains, and Reito Lantern add a little redundancy to Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero, Mercenary Informer, and Rebel Informer.

You've also got pieces to a few combos but they would need a few more parts. Teysa, Orzhov Scion combos with Darkest Hour but it really needs a Blood Artist and Ashnod's Altar to work. Cho-Manno, Revolutionary combos with Pariah and Pariah's Shield. Those two also combo with Stuffy Doll.

One last Card. Conspiracy turns every creature into Rebels or Mercenaries, letting you tutor for any creature in your deck.

I'm still surprised that Magistrate's Scepter is getting reprinted in Core 2019. I didn't think any card from Mercadian Masques except for Cho-Manno, Revolutionary would be good enough to get into another set! :)

DemonDragonJ on Core Set Legendary Creatures By ...

Since I have already created threads that list commanders and planeswalkers by home plane, I shall now create a thread that lists legendary creatures who have appeared in core sets by home plane.

As with my previous lists, I shall first list the planes known to be home to at least one legendary creature who has appeared in a core set alphabetically by name, and then list each legendary creature from that plane who has appeared in a core set alphabetically by name. If that creature is from a specific region of that plane or is a member of a specific faction on that plane, I shall list that region or faction in parenthesis after their name.

What does everyone think of this list? Is it sufficiently informative? Have I improperly labeled any creatures? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Kaneki___Ken on Commander for a Mono White ...

Hey all.

I was just wondering who would be the best commander for a Mono-White enchanter deck and what some staples would be. I'm doing a challenge where I build one deck of every mono-color and decided to go in WUBRG order. So to start with white I thought of enchantress.

Okay okay there is only one actually enchantress in white (I plan to get her) but it's still an enchantments deck. Lemme run over a list of commanders I've thought of so far:

Heliod, God of the Sun: An enchant himself he obviously deserves consideration. I just don't know how I feel about him as a general. The devotion should be easy to turn on with all the enchantments, but he's honestly feeling kinda lackluster to me... I could be wrong though.

Eight-and-a-Half-Tails: my current leader in options, Tails here gives us protection for our enchantments and can be a good win con making a voltron Control kinda commander.

Cho-Manno, Revolutionary: cute interaction with Pariah but not much else. Maybe a voltron general?

Sram, Senior Artificer: another idea is to go straight voltron with sram at the helm.

Thanks for reading and for help!

p.s: Please try and keep suggestions budget, I'm trying to make 5 decks here and I'm not made of money haha.

Sculpting Steel double stuffy doll or your fancy equipment pieces.

Pestilence/Pyrohemia work really well with stuffy doll.

Cho-Manno, Revolutionary interacts and fits the theme of your deck nicely.

I used to run Cho-Manno, Revolutionary+Pariah as a way to help stave off the death, but I took the combo out. Not really sure why I did that. I know another card that needs to go in is Privileged Position to keep up the defense of enchantments and such. Also need Platinum Emperion to stop things like discard pain decks and the like. And any one of the Eldrazi Gods to get the thing "Mill-Proof". Really appreciate all the feedback in such a short amount of time though, for real. Been a member of the sight for only like 3 days lol. Great community here.

I think Pariah paired with Stuffy Doll or Cho-Manno, Revolutionary would help make Azor's Elocutors more viable.
