I've wanted to make a Warrior tribal since 2016 but back then the support wasn't there. I tried with Zurgo Helmsmasher first, but it was janky so I made Khanate of the Golden Headbutt (Artifact Voltron). I then tried with Saskia the Unyielding
, but it still didn't have the support and I made Ankle-Shanking. I also made The Barbarian Queen's Horde with Lovisa Coldeyes in paper. It had its limitations, for sure.
Then Battlebond came out and Najeela, the Blade-Blossom entered the meta. I was overjoyed that such a good commander was created and so many Warrior-typal-support cards were printed. I immediately bought Najeela and a bunch of Battlebond Warriors and splurged more than I normally do on my new decks--hence all the foils.
...Then Najeela developed her reputation. It's kind of funny; I was so stoked for Najeela just because she supported a creature type I had been working on, then she turned out to be one of the most busted commanders ever.
This deck is mostly fair Warrior aggro. A few of the infamous Najeela pieces are in the deck but this isn't some degenerate, tutor-filled, cEDH deck. In fact, I'm running no tutors. Much like fair Narset, Enlightened Master decks or fair Zur the Enchanter *f-etch* decks, the fairness only goes so far. The deck can be quite brutal, and I usually whip it out when it's a high-powered table.
I have a few of the combo pieces (Druids' Repository and Bear Umbra), but I don't have Sword of Feast and Famine or Nature's Will. Not really sure I need them.
I am trying to run a lot of effects that make my creatures unblockable or have trample. I want to keep my creature count high not just for Najeela reasons but to see as many varied Warriors as I can across Magic's history.

Not a true update, but I got a Secret Lair Najeela, the Blade-Blossom. I took apart my Eivor, Battle-Ready deck The Art of Combat Looting, so the spirit of Eivor the Commander lives on.
