Yeah, I know that Survivors' ability doesn't double up with Isshin. My token loving heart can't help but love the idea of attacking with it and making like six X/4 tokens with Isshin, though!

You are 100% right about Battle Angels of Tyr and Devilish Valet. Those are two cards that I've been wanting to add but I just don't know what to cut for them. (I'd like to keep Herald of the Host if possible. The more Myriad creatures, the better!)

Hey KBK7101! Awesome looking Isshin build! Also, good to see you on here Crow-Umbra!

Hey so KBK7101, I came to the realization (with a lot of help from others) that myriad is fantastic in Isshin. And I originally thought to myself, 'Elturel Survivors is amazing in this deck, auto-include!" However, I came to realize that while the trample+myriad aspect is amazing, Survivor's triggered ability is unfortunately not an attack trigger, and so won't be doubled up by Isshin. While making 5 X/4s with trample is still awesome value, just checking that you see the non-bo. One card I have been considering for a while which is adjacent in my mind, is Devilish Valet. Has the trample, also has haste, and if you're making a lot of tokens, it grows exponentially, so at just five tokens produced, it becomes a 32/3. While not myriad, it could easily eliminate one opponent at that power.

One other recommendation, I would 100% switch out Herald of the Host and put in the Battle Angels of Tyr you have sitting in your next update area. Almost the exact same stat line (yes, minus the vigilance, I know), but with massively better triggers. And if all 5 hit, you get 5 triggers of its ability to resolve.

Okay, thanks for listening!

we back baby, lots of changes:

**Sardian Avenger IN

Ashnod's Altar OUT**

I've had really good experiences so far with Devilish Valet, and so I'm adding another cheap, scaling threat that can really rack up the damage at any stage of the game. It synergizes fantastically with pieces like Shadowspear and Duelist's Heritage, introduces a bit of treasure hate, and even shuts off some combos. I love that it scales with the power level of the table, and I expect it to overperform for 2 mana. On the other hand, Ashnod's has underperformed. Without consistent token producers (of which there are only a handful of in the deck), this often feels like 3 mana do-nothing, and it being one of only a select handful of non-mana artifacts in the deck means its even more likely to eat non-creature removal.

**Goblin Motivator and Bloodlust Inciter IN

Ogre Battledriver and Dowsing Dagger  Flip OUT**

I found myself craving more haste enablers in the deck and Ogre Battledriver seems to be too big of a lightning rod, which is fair because it can end games with the right setup. I've opted for cheaper, lower to the ground options that are less likely to eat targeted removal. They won't pump a team of incoming tokens off of Mardu Ascendancy or Hero of Bladehold, but they will come down faster and have impact over many more turns than the ogre would normally be allowed to live. I did enjoy playing with Dowsing Dagger  Flip but it feels counter-intuitive to lean into haste and also give out blockers.

**Battle Angels of Tyr IN

Rabble Rousing OUT**

Myriad is fun, cool, and good. Turns out, its even better when you make twice as many tokens. For 4 mana, you get 26 flying power per turn with Isshin out, and potentially 2 card draws and 2 treasures to top it off (you likely wont get the lifegain trigger). The nail in the coffin for Rabble Rousing is that the tokens don't come in tapped and attacking. That downside combined with the whiff potential means that the card feels clunky at times. It was also overkill for the synergies that it was hoping to lean into for card draw (Welcoming Vampire and Tocasia's Welcome), so overall it only felt like we were unlocking the true potential of this card in magical-christmas-land with Skullclamp and Ashnod's Altar.

**Laelia, the Blade Reforged IN

Welcoming Vampire OUT**

Given that we're downsizing on the overall number of token-focused cards (and adding [battle angels of tyr]), [welcoming vampire] seems like a natural candidate to take out for [Laelia]. A guarenteed 2 cards a turn is better than (maybe) 1 card a turn, even if it means making your creature a lightning rod.

**Skyhunter Strike Force IN

Nadaar, Selfless Paladin OUT**

If I was willing to pay 5 mana to give the whole team melee with Adriana, Captain of the Guard, then I will absolutely double up on the effect on a 2/2 flying body for 3 mana. PSA: instances of melee stack, so Isshin + both of these = +12/+12 to each creature that attacks. Nadaar is a solid value piece, but getting to attack with him twice without him getting killed feels more like a gamble than a guarantee, so he's getting pulled out for the moment. Note that this makes Triumphant Adventurer the sole venture card left in the deck, so if I need space for another 2 drop that might be where I go.

Plumb the Forbidden could replace Sign in Blood. Instant speed is what makes this card.

Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant will draw a lot of cards and tapping down 2 blockers per opponent and goading them works really well here.

Devilish Valet doesn't have an attack trigger, but just 6 tokens entering makes him 64 power and it snowballs fast from there. He will 1 shot problem players out of the game... I've hit for over 1 million damage with this guy!

Shared Animosity doesn't need tribal support here. Just 4 matching 1/1 tokens will attack as 7/1's and this one also just snowballs to crazy amounts of damage.

Otharri, Suns' Glory is kinda like Krenko Tin Street Kingpin here but even if he dies you keep those experience counters so he's spitting out an army immediately when you bring him back.

Gustcloak Savior is a budget option for Reconnaissance, Dolmen Gate, and Iroas, God of Victory. I definitely suggest trying to trade for these if you see 'em though.

KBK7101 I wouldn't run her. She is a dead card if you don't have many token creator on the field and I would rather spend the mana for an attack trigger card. 5 mana is too much....

But if you rely on heavy token creation, you should definitely run Devilish Valet. This card gets really scary real fast.

Mishra, Claimed by Gix  Meld can also end games, depending on the amount of attacking tokens you have. The more attacking tokens you have, the more you drain your opponents.

Ogre Battledriver is a really nice haste enabler here with the added bonus that all your enters attacking tokens will get this buff.

Plumb the Forbidden is an excellent draw card here. Just use it in response to boardwipes thanks to instant speed and rebound faster than everyone else.

Devilish Valet doesn't have an attack trigger but just 6 tokens entering makes him 64 power and if you ever get lucky and make 20 tokens in a turn (happened once for me while I actually had the devil lol) it's over 1 million power. This guy WILL 1 shot problematic players out of the game.

You have Crawlspace listed twice. Devilish Valet doesn't have an attack trigger but this guy snowballs fast with this kind of token production and WILL end players. 6 tokens entering makes him 64 power, 10 is 1024 power, and if you manage 20 (done it once) it's over 1 million power.
