The commander of my very first Deck was Rhys the Redeemed. Since then I just love tokens! Later on I tried Atraxa, Praetors' Voice who is the king of counters and I also loved him. So why not try the best of both worlds and build an Edgar Markov-Deck?
I also tried a deck with Omnath, Locus of Mana. It was fun at first but it was ridiculous fast and just too successful in my playgroup. Also the games were all the same: ramp up, win by commanderdamage. So this deck should be different and the goal to archieve is lots of fun. Sure winning is fun but playing a nice deck against friends is more fun - at least for me.
Since Edgar Markov benefits from playing Vampires I stick to the theme. Some good cards that might fit well in the deck are not in it because of the lack of vampire flavour.
I do not have that much money so I had to cut some good cards. And even in the actual state the deck is kind of expensive for me. The deck only contains cards which are worth 10$ or less.
This deck does not follow the Token strategy with low CMC Vampires. Also this deck contains no win-combo. Because I think combos like Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond are lame. This deck has a bit of everything in it but has one major focus: fun
