Sisay// Jodah Waifus Legendary Breasts cEDH deck Primer

Sisay is a solid 5 color WUBRG deck that leverages her ability to tutor on the field win with Sisay's ability to tutor rather than cast spells.

This is my variation on the Sisay Tutor Chains cEDH deck. This is the best variation of the deck because every nonland card features beautiful women. For those familiar, the legendary permanents necessary for Sisay are mostly women, which is great if you're horny but also analytic like me. Limitation breeds creativity (no pun intended). And because of these limitations I'm able to legally classify this as bracket 3 with only three game changers.

For the better version I might actually bring to tournament, see this list here when i update it. . This is statistically 1-2 turns faster and costs over four times as much and is nowhere near as pretty.

This deck was finalized 2025/8 after around 2 years of building and playing this lecherous monstrosity. I finalized on under 5 nonwaifu nonland cards to finish building the most competitive version of this deck possible while maintaining the horny gimmick. I had not realized when I started the deck how absurdly strong Sisay is simply needing to activate her ability than cast spells. Originally, I had built Sisay as more of a toolbox deck to break rule of law parity and hold interaction to make up for the lack of fast mana, holding up 5 mana to find the right time to tutor. However, the deck became optimized over time and waifu art for staples like Sol Ring Or Talismans were printed in Universes Beyond and Secret Lairs were able to speed up the deck's power. By late 2025, the deck sped up to be able to rely on Stax only to stop turbo decks and ramp a win quickly.

For casual pods, I simply hotswap Sisay with 2022-9 Dominaria United's Jodah, the Unifier for his pseudo legendary cascade ability and maybe swap the sisay legends and stax for pseudo evasion and trample. Sisay is also a casually strong 2.5 if you don't go infinite and use the Najeela line.

The sideboard consists of good cards that are a functional sideboard. The maybeboard is mostly random waifus. Upgrades are easier for this deck because in addition to being a good card, the artwork should be based on the theme of the card's artwork instead of reasonably powerful cards.

__

Sisay has been in the cEDH meta since her inception. There are many valid variants, and all have their faults because it's difficult for a Sisay deck to find a good balance with interaction, speed, and card advantage. The exception was the 2020-2024 era when Dockside Extortionist was legal and decks that abused dockside could win swiftly and immediately. A birthing Pod / Jegantha variant fell out of favor after this hit. This variant loses out on speed because it lacks fast mana. (See Sisay Jegantha subsection for an example: high on speed, low on interaction and card advantage).

Sisay's largest strength is her ability to tutor win line combos for infinite mana or an answer, such as Ertai Resurrected. Sisay's activated abilties means opponents will likely have to win before turns 4-7 or else Sisay wins.

Her biggest issue is being locked out of the game once any 5 color hate pieces like Back to Basics, Blood Moon, or search negation hits board like Opposition Agent and Aven Mindcensor, and creature negates like Linvala and Cursed Totem. The deck is shut down by Aven Mindcensor // Opposition Agent as it prevents the deck from searching. However, I would argue that creature negates such as Linvala and Cursed Totem are more of a threat than Aven Mindcensor/ Opposition Agent as those deny so many more resources.

TEDH Sisay has the distinct issue of being too good or fair. The deck cannot be as fast as some versions of Rogsi, Inalla, or Kriik, but at the same time is fast enough to threaten a win faster than midrange or tempo. As such Sisay is targetted and should aim to have sufficient resources or maintain protection/interation.

Lore wise, Sisay has a really cool part of Magic's story, the Zhalfarin captain of the weatherlight and a part of the 4 year Weatherlight saga, recruiting legendary characters onto her crew. I just like running her to reminisce on the good old stories too.

Sisay searches on resolution of the last known game state.

  • If someone removes Sisay on activation, the game state would still reference how large Sisay is at the end of board state.

  • If someone removes a legendary creature on activation, the game state would reference how large Sisay would be not counting the legendary creature.

  • If you can't win immediately and your opponents have white and black mana open, hold mana open and search on end steps. The rationale is that you can search for silver bullets but also if someone casts opposition agent or aven mindcensor on your end step, you can search in response for an answer.

  • Tutor for Ertai Resurrected only for when it’s desperately needed. E.g. Counter the triggered ability of Thassa’s Oracle, kill the last stax piece, to protect a win, etc.

  • Tutor for Oko, Thief of Crowns to Remove Stax pieces. He exists solely to transform game ending things like Grafdigger's Cage and Containment Priest.

  • Sisay has access to all necessary pieces at 4 power. If Sisay is 4 or greater and you control taps for 3 mana, you can win right then and there with the Selvala line - assuming you can tap Selvala for mana.

  • Push for the win if you have a 3+ mana Bloom Tender // Faeburrow Elder // Selvala // Heronblade Elite. If you can count the mana to pull off the Derevi + Emiel Line, do it to end the game if it’s safe to do so.

Sisay tutor chains decks win by Pulling out a 5-8 card combo out from the deck or the usual Tainted Pact / Thassa’s Oracle. Your first few turns will be spent ramping and holding interaction. Plan to win in the mid game with Sisay on the field.

Sisay/Jodah Legends cEDH 1/24 - 8/25 Wincons Midrange Toolbox that Wins with Inf Mana and linear Sisay Lines

0) Thassa’s Oracle + Tainted Pact/ Divining Witch (use until it gets banned)

1) Inf Mana Blink: Emiel the Blessed Line: Derevi, Untapping a permanent that produces 4 or more Mana: (Selvala Heart of the Wilds // Selvala, Eager Trailblazer // Bloom Tender // Faeburrow Elder // Gaea’s Cradle) Into Emiel the Blessed blink = Inf mana. Alternatively Dynahier or a Haste Enabler like Tyvar can start the combo immediately when enters it the battlefield if you stack the interactions correctly.

2) Inf Mana Dork: Freed from the Real / On mana dork producing 2+ Mana: Eg Faeburrow Elder, Bloom Tender Heronblade Elite, Selvala, Sanctum Weaver. Sink into Kinnan or Agatha if possible. Run no more than 1 if at all because the deck needs a big mana dork anyways, so if you open or draw it, you're set.

3) Inf Mana Untaps: Ioreth of the Healing House Ioreth of the Healing House + Marvin / Samut, Voice of Dissent + Selvala, Explorer Returned / Selvala, Eager Trailblazer. This was a 2025 addition only because I did not want to be shoehorned into Emiel the Blessed.

a) How to win with Inf Mana: If using Derevi/Emiel, use Mount Doom/ Shivan Gorge to untap infinitely. Otherwise, get a Haste Enabler (Olivia / Samut) and Shalai, Voice of Plenty to put an arbitrarily large number of counters on everything and hope to fly over for game. If using Freed from the Real on Bloom Tender/ Faeburrow Elder, search for Kalain for another blue pip, use Blue Mana to search for Shalai for infinite counters.

b) Tamiyo Completed Sage is available to revive any win condition if everything has gone to hell. One piece of recovery should be in deck. Alternatives: Lazav, the Multifarious, Chainer, Nightmare Adept

Do not be overwhelmed by the convoluted win condition. If you like the deck, you will be playing this combo over and over again. You can also simplify this deck into a convoluted toolbox deck where you create one long line of cards but you keep doing that one line over and over again. Essentially, Bloom Tender/Faeburrow elder/Selvala act as one card combos to start the lines. Think of it like the Innalla cEDH deck; you have a one card combo with spellseeker but the line then takes dozens of steps to resolve a win.

Once you have a way to produce 3+ mana you can win right then and there. Provided you can tutor for derevi or have Tyvar/ Dynahier on the field, you can win with the Emiel infinite mana/blink combo and win with Mount Doom/ Gretchen / agatha.

The cEDH part of this was originally a stretch as it is not completely optimal with the waifu constraint. However, despite me being one the many people who bemoans Magic's Universes Beyond and Secret Lair pushing out originality in favor of profit and a diluted fanbase, the deck had a sufficiently powerful card base because of them and gave horny people like me a decent waifu deck.

NON WAIFU EXCEPTIONS I've taken exception to the following cEDH MVP as of 5/2025

  • 1x Emiel the Blessed
  • 1x Ertai Resurrected
  • 1x Divining Witch
  • 1x Tainted Pact
  • 1x birds of paradise

Cards that are necessary against certain decks (removed)

  • 1x lotus petal
  • 1x Mental Misstep
  • 1x Mindbreak Trap
  • 1x Oko, Thief of Crowns

Emiel: necessary for all the combos. Also protects your creatures. Perform as many mental gymnastics as possible, but Emiel does have human breasts and should never have them. Do not proxy an anthropomorphic horse or an alternate art waifu, Emiel is quite beautiful. Emiel will be replaced by a waifu once one gets printed that also blinks for 3cmc or less.

Tainted Pact // Demonic Consultation // Divining Witch. To embolden the glory of the best cEDH waifu Thassa’s oracle, you must run at least two of these cards. Divining witch does a lot being a human and recursive. I eventually cut Demonic Consultation as it is a dead card in hand. If you must cast it, you’ve lost. At least Thassa’s Oracle is a blocker that can stack your library and can be revived.

Oko : Insane card that’s banned in almost every format but commander and vintage. Insane in Sisay as he makes Sisay a 4/4, just big enough to protect him. Sometimes you need non creature removal. You can use this to get around Containment Priest. Sometimes you need to remove the threat. The closest alternative is Vraska and but being 3 cmc does a lot and Sisay can protect this bastard.

Ertai Resurrected : Dominaria united gave a lot of legendary spells, and this is a sleeper hit. The largest benefit of Sisay toolbox is to have an out to everything, and having a legendary counterspell or destruction is incredible. When I played the cEDH variant, this saved me so many times.

Lotus petal/ Chrome Mox: Very good on opening. Chrome Mox is not included just because it often doesn't get the right colors.

Mox Diamond should be included and will replace a land, but it's benefit is negligible.

Should have 1-2 one drop spells in case everything goes to hell once you pull the infinite combo. If you're not building a gimmick deck like this use Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer or Cultist of the Absolute or Skrelv, Defector Mite instead of Asmor.

One Drops: Oath of Nissa: Valuable only as a one drop spell. Just as valid in cEDH as it is in Pioneer. Almost always guaranteed a free card from deck to hand. Also survives boardwipes. Asmor: It’s a 0 drop that has 2 colors. That’s all it’s there for. The other 1 drop waifus are Ashnod Flesh Machinist and Rosnagh, and those do even less.

(the fast mana below is fine in Sisay // Jegantha: Awful in 5 color tutor lines)

Mox Amber The problem is that this is only online when Sisay hits the board, which is too little too late. Extensive testing proved this only as helpful as an elf and less helpful than fellwar stone or relic of legends. Use if you are keen on Mox Opal and other artifacts.

Gemstone Caverns Same rationale as Chrome Mox. Gemstone Caverns has a 7/99 chance of being in opening hand, and you have about a 5% chance of having it and not going first in a first in a four player game. Sisay needs colors badly, not just luck. cEDH players need to get it through their thick skulls the game can end in under 3 turns but not every game does. Build your lands base based on what the deck needs not the game structure.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben The best innistrad waifu has no place in this deck. You need your mana for counterpspells and interaction.

MARALEN

This was cut long ago but is here for consideration. Maralen at opponent’s endstep. Search and cast opposition agent, lockout opponents and try to steal their interaction. Easiest Sisay Tutor once Sisay has 4 power. This only works if your opponents are also optimized/draw heavy and are not playing combat heavy decks eg winota Dargo. The other problem is that drawing Maralen can ruin your game. I also cut opposition agent long ago because having your agent stolen with something like praetor’s grasp or Trading Drake is game ending. Waifu stax like Eidolon of Rhetoric just works better.

Searching for Selvala and consequently Derevi and Emiel is just so much more consistent that this line is not necessary.

CHROMATIC ORRERY The line is as follows: With Around 7 mana, cast Cultist of the Absolute – Makes Sisay a 6/6. With 2 legendary pips sisay becomes an 8/8 that can search for Chromatic Orrery. Orrery taps for 5, which searches for Derevi which can start the Emiel Loop. The problem is that this line costs at least 7 mana, orrery is 7 mana, and requires Cultist of the Absolute or the Bruna the Demagogue exclusively to execute this line. It’s too bricky.
Cultist of the Absolute does enough by itself.

Again, searching for Selvala and consequently Derevi and Emiel is just so much more consistent that this line is not necessary. By the same logic, Freed From the Real is better as a card that's great in opening hand.

Brainstorm: Brainstorm is great in its own right, but it's kind of garbage in this sort of build. The issue is that every time I Looked for a card on Impulse or Opting before turn 3, I typically want a land or a counterspell, and statistically it's going to be a land. As this deck has no fast mana or artifact ramp, you'll often end up stacking an inefficient library.

Mystic Remora: This is ungodly in cEDH and casual, but I ended up cutting it for the same reason as brainstorm: lack of fast mana. In cEDH, it hinders many strategic spells and actions early game. You can also draw a bunch from a counterspell skirmish or if someone threatens a win. In casual, people will just let you draw a bunch of cards.

The big issue is that this is not the sort of deck that wants to sculpt a great hand but rather wants the cards immediately. Sisay can be a remarkably fast deck outpacing midrange decks that have mild disruption. My ultimate rationale is that Mystic Remora is only good in the first 2 turns going first, and it’s counterintuintive to this deck. It might come back, especially if better waifu art will appear. But $22+ for a secret lair for a card that costs $4 is way too much.

GAEA'S CRADLE This is without a doubt an amazing card, giving great value and 2-6 green mana often when I played. My only issue is that I would much prefer a multi-colored land instead, and finding cuts for gaea's cradle became tough after years running it.

Gaea's Cradle was removed as the deck became progressively faster. This is far from a bad card, but has the distinct issue of only being able to create Green Mana. Although Sisay can search for this, the deck needs color more than mana. This can replace a land in other builds as the land count is abnormally high for cedh.

This section is mostly for me to do the math of deck breakdown and card draw chances.

Anti=turbo cards (9)

Stax + 2 mana interaction - Deafening Silence - High noon / aethersworn canonist - Lavinia, - negate - Arcane denial

Kill turbo voltron/opposition agent - path to exile - swords to plowshares

Interaction - mental misstep - mindbreak trap - swan song - Silence

Cards to open with

Mana (7) 1x Birds of Paradise (LTC) 1x Bloom Tender (EVE:66) 1x selvala, heart of the wilds 1x Faeburrow Elder (SLD) 1x Noble Hierarch Ignoble hierarch - deathrite shaman

2-3 hastes enablers great. Only add more if there is a secondary function. Olivia, Mobilized for War, Chainer, Nightmare Adept and Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler are great as there is no cost and have other abilities that also help.

Dynaheir, Invoker Adept makes up for her high cost with her haste dork ability and secondary ability as a followup to win.

Stax pieces like Rule of Law, and High Noon are great as you can work around it. Opponents might not.

As previously mentioned, avoid Opposition Agent and Aven Mindcensor in case of the dreaded Praetor's Grasp or Reanimate

This is a small subsection devoted exclusively to a more fragile variant I toyed around with. Ignore this if you’re not looking for tutor chain/waifu notes.

For one example, there’s a variant that runs Jegantha as a companion. This version maxes out on fast mana but is a glass cannon that loses out on interaction and card advantage. Sisay and Jegantha form a 0 card combo by searching a convoluted line with Derevi, Samut, and Najeela and a few others- this is detailed in a small subsection)

The idea of the Sisay // Jegantha deck is that you have two cards in a command zone that enable an infinite combo if the deck is built correctly. In other words, a 0 card combo in the command zone. As such, optimize the deck to get mana and card advantage as fast as possible.

The deck is strategically similar to Godo, Bandit Warlord where you win once are able to amass 11 mana, but with access to all colors instead of red. This is enabled mostly through treasonous ogre and the usual fast mana and rituals. The 11 mana is used to cast Sisay, bring Jegantha to hand, cast Jegantha, and if a haste enabler is on field, you can win on spot by pulling an infinite combo.

Although I had fun for a few months, I archived the deck because the deck is not fast enough, is horribly fragile, and only does that one thing. Most cards are centered around getting Treasonous Ogre, with a couple cards sprinkled in for stax and protection. Every game, win, loss goes off the same way, and it gets boring real fast if the deck is not a tier deck. I'm archiving my thoughts here for future purpose.

The Sisay tutor line of Bloom Tender// Faeburrow Elder // Selvala --> Derevi --> Emiel is just so much more consistent that the deck as it stands right now has a higher chance of winning than Sisay // Jegantha. Again, unless your deck has fast mana and treasonous ogre, Sisay // Jegantha is just a few levels weaker.

__ Win Lines

(Eventually, you will be able to generate infinite flicker or mana or damage. You can use Mount Doom or Orcish Bowmasters to close the game)

_Planeswalker Lines

This started the whole deck. I felt very proud of myself for finding an infinite combo that uses planeswalkers from my experience playing modern. When I saw Jegantha makes Sisay and I can search a 3, everything clicked.

-Jegantha Tutor Tyvar, Untap Jegan Sisay Tutor Aminatou, Flick Tyvar. Sisay Tutor Oath of Teferi. Tyvar Untap, Tutor Teferi Hero of Dom.
Aminatou flick Tyvar, -3 Teferi Ami, Tutor Ami and flicker inf, banking one per flick.

I eventually cut it from the deck as it wasn't very efficient; Of the cards in the combo, only Tyvar naturally synergizes with the deck. Aminatou, Teferi Hero of Dominari, and Oath of Teferi really don't do much.

Planeswalkers are also not great for the deck as they will likely get punched out of loyalty counters, weakening Sisay. _

__ __

A combo deck is about 4-6 haste enablers without diminishing returns. Legendary Haste Enablers are Olivia, Mobilized for War and Goro-Goro and Satoru Swiftfoot Boots okay, but really good if it actually enables a wincondition. Crop Rotation searches for Hall of the Bandit Lord, No more than one of the following For consideration: Invigorating Hot Springs Ashling's Prejoragative Mass Hysteria

Waifu variations as of 12/23: Arlinn Kord  , Trailblazer Historian, Bloodthorn Taunter

Typically, you can go straight for Treasonous Ogre and win the game after paying 30 life. (3 to put Jegantha in hand, 5 for Jegantha, and around 2 for a haste enabler)

__ __

Najeela// Derevi // Samut

This is the tried-and-true line for Jegantha Sisay. This has been online for a few years now. I think Rebell.son on Moxfield has a list that is kept relatively up to date for this list.

The lines goes that if Jegantha does not have summoning sickness, you can tap to search for a 3 drop Derevi. Derevi Untaps Jegantha to search for 5 drop Samut. Samut Untaps Jegantha to search for Najeela. Move to combat and hope to string combat damage to untap Jegatha infinitely.

With this alone, you are hoping that a 6/6 Sisay and a 2/3 flyer can string together combat damage. It's not unlikely that you that these will string together combat damage and win, but it's not guarenteed.

Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler is included for another free search to find anything you'd like.

Best case scenario is that there is a haste enabler on field so you can cast Jegantha for game. Cards like Goro-Goro and Satoru might work. Otherwise, during combat the Exalted Hierarchs will do the trick by making Derevi swole.

  • Tyvar, jubilant brawler (one:218) wins asap with selvala. At worst with 11 mana and a 4/4+ sisay. Search the selvala line. At best, searching off sisay with enough mana starts the line to search asap.

__ __

-Agatha Soul Cauldron // Ioreth of the Healing House lines can string a lot of combos and is generic graveyard hate. It’s great. You can use this as last ditch recursion if needed.

By Itself, Agatha’s Soul Cauldron with and 3 legends on field without summoning sickness and Ioreth of the Healing House in Graveyard generate infinite mana. You can throw Ioreth into the graveyard by sacrificing it to cultist of the absolute. As long as at least 2 creatures have +1/+1 counters, you can have them untap each other and another permanent using Ioreth’s abilities and generate infinite mana.

Alternatively, Ioreth combos with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and a legendary mana dork. __ __

Jodah Considerations

There are lots of better lists online. For starters, Rograkh, Son of Rogahh gets big with Jodah's boost. Ghalta Primal Hunger is a girl and is essentially a free cast with Jodah. But neither of them have breasts (thankfully), so I will stick with the waifu variant of this deck. Here is a list I like:
- Sisay enters a 7/7 with Jodah. She's nice. - Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist can be used to end the game.

All the "partner with" legends are nice, as they refuel your hand for more legendary cascades. The ETB trigger allows you to add the partner from deck to hand. - Sylvia Brightspear - Khorvath Brightflame - Kamber, the Plunderer - Laurine, the Diversion
