(1)(White), Tap, Sacrifice Capashen Unicorn: Destroy target artifact or enchantment.
Capashen Unicorn Discussion

I think people underestimate the power of cards like Soltari Champion. Sure it doesn't look better than Honor of the Pure, but after factoring in that it's a creature, that is basically unblockable and that can be the target of teshar's ability, you'll see how it's that much better for what we're trying to do. Same can be said about effects like Capashen Unicorn.
If you're putting sacrifice effects on the list I would suggest Mangara of Corondor, which even in the worst case scenario it's an exile effect.
Two cards that missed me when I wrote the article were, Frontline Medic and Lieutenant Kirtar. The first is amazing as a way to force through damage and the second is a flying beater that has a strong removal stapled to it.

Personally, looking a bit closer, I would go with Karametra, God of Harvests as a commander. I did a gatherer search including Antelope, Elk, Horse, Unicorn.
Crested Sunmare is a horse that makes other horses.

Nice. Based on your Facebook post, I suggest these for theme:
Cult of the Waxing Moon
Garruk Relentless Flip
Howl of the Night Pack
Raised by Wolves
Wren's Run Packmaster

Replacements for Decommission with rationale.
Capashen Unicorn - Repeatable by bringing it back to the field
Disenchant - I'd rather have lower CMC than the potential to gain 3 life.
Devout Witness - Use to discard creatures from hand, provides targerts for with Alesha
Duergar Hedge-Mage - You have mountains and plains. Recurs with Alesha

The deck right now is perfectly servicable as a R/W midrange archetype, but I get the impression it doesn't really know what it wants to be yet. In adding cards like Boros Reckoner and Spitemare, you've created more payoff when Avacyn transforms from white to red, but those guys seem rather lackluster when you have Light of Sanction or Mark of Asylum on the battlefield. I'd either go further into the "protect all my guys from global damage"-theme and remove the punisher cards or alternatively you could maybe embrace the fact that your creatures will get damaged, in which case you'd want to cut cards like Repercussion. As it is, I feel there are a couple of boardstates where the deck might be it's own worst enemy. Either way, you could use some more non-angel creatures you can sacrifice at will or alternatively some more reliable token producers, possibly in the manabase (Kjeldoran Outpost and Kher Keep seem like good options to me).
There are a couple of cards I don't really see much use for regardless of the theme of the deck. Those include Braid of Fire and Flickerform. I can't see any mana sinks to use the mana provided by Braid of Fire during upkeep. Keep in mind that mana pools empty between turn phases. While I can guess that Flickerform is supposed to be used as a reset button for Avacyn, I'd wager that it's not necessary to flip her back this often. Maybe just play a simple instant speed flicker effect or two if you feel it's important for the deck strategy.
Personally, I recommend cutting Boros Reckoner and it's ilk and going for some more damage prevention. That'd suggest the following cards, specifically:

Hi! Nice primer! Reading it gave me the desire to build a similar deck.
I have couple suggestions for you:
Serra Ascendant allows also a turn-2 4/4 Karlov. And a 6/6 flying lifelink is a good body.
You have a high mana curve. Do you feel you have enough ramp? Maybe consider Land Tax, Oreskos Explorer, Tithe, Solemn Simulacrum, Burnished Hart (those in creature shape are nice with Reveillark and Phyrexian Reclamation.) Another one Knight of the White Orchid put the land into play untapped, and it can be a dual land. Also there are the Jet Medallion and Pearl Medallion. Pristine Talisman is ramp and Lifegain!
Ranger of Eos could be a nice tutor to get Mother of Runes and your Lifegain enablers.
Debtors' Knell is a big badass reanimator enchantment. But slow like a slug.
Blind Obedience is a fast lifegainer and disable your opponent's blockers for one more turn when they arrive. A big Karlov will thank you for freeing the way for him :)
Nyx-Fleece Ram is another lifegainer but probably better in Doran the Siegetower decks.
And finally I would try Withering Boon. It's a creature removal very surprising that allows you to avoid nasty creatures (Hello Azami and Teferi) and big ETB effects (Hello Avenger of Zendikar, Terastodon, Craterhoof Behemoth/)
