Bronzebeak Moa Discussion

TypicalTimmy on anyone know good blink infinite ...

You want either Felidar Guardian or Wispweaver Angel. Both of these are important as they:

  • 1.) Do not require any other triggers other than entering the battlefield
  • 2.) Immediately return the creature to the battlefield
  • 2.1) They don't want until a condition is met,
  • 2.2) Or until the beginning of the next end step

If you are fortunate enough to have both out together, you can put an infinite loop on, which can be fed into things such as (in 5c) Soul Warden, Kapsho Kitefins, Orc Sureshot< Impact Tremors, Champion of Lambholt.

Also, Aura Shards, Boltwing Marauder, Bronzebeak Moa, Corpse Knight (Wincon), Decoction Module (Aethersquall Ancient), and honestly just a bunch more. You can also use Aetherflux Reservoir to auto-cannon everyone with Soul Warden and similar life gaining cards.

Also, if you use Clone creatures, you can expand how many creatures you have available to you. Have the Clone enter as a copy of either of the two aforementioned creatures and it works just as good. This also gives you access to a ton of draw via Dire Undercurrents.

Glad you found it now. I will add Qumulox, seems interesting though not the best artifact commander. And I like Bronzebeak Moa, I have it in one of my primers for the Presence of Gond combo. I didn't add it here because I figured most players would rather try to get a similar result through Prowess but I'll add that too.

Also I'm surprised to see no mention of Bronzebeak Moa. I've never played against that Commander, but it strikes me as one with a lot of potential.

Bronzebeak Moa is better than Herd Gnarr. I would also suggest Commune with the Gods to help dig for your combo pieces.

So, I was wondering why my deck consistently underperformed, and after reviewing my deck a bit I realized I somehow ended up only running 31 lands and a lot more high cost things than I should've been playing. I also realized I was running a bit of lockdown stuff, and I think wanted to tone that down a bit in favor of more tribal support. As this was the case, I decided to fix it up a bit.

A lot of your cards seem really low-impact for EDH games:

A lot of the other cards are pretty solid, but sort of over-the-top in quantity. You have a lot of targeted removal. Try to pick your 8 favorites, and cut the rest.

I think in a deck like this you want to be running about 45 lands + ramp, 30-ish creatures, 13-15-ish removal (Targetted + Boardwipes), and 10-12-ish support cards (e.g., True Conviction or Nissa's Revelation).

Also it looks like some of your cards were originally designed for a Tokens deck, but you don't seem to have enough token generation to justify them:

Good luck!
