Ol’ Brago Baggins in a journey to win the game! I kept this deck a lot more creature heavy than many Brago decks I’ve seen. Also, I tried to stray away from Stax due to.....well, due to it’s just not super fun to see your opponents near tears with anger. Don’t get me wrong, there are cards like Stonehorn Dignitary and Lavinia that will slow down your opponents but the focus of this deck is abusing Brago early and often. Getting him out turn 3 is gravy but many times I’ve tested this and he’s out turn 4. Consider protecting him ASAP with Swiftfoot Boots or Darksteel Plate. Without Brago as your engine, this deck is decent at best. With cards like Strionic Resonator and Panhormonican you can see how ETB effects can get out of hand quickly. Of course staples like Rhystic Study and Smothering Tithe found a spot. If you read this far you may be making a Brago deck of your own. Check out the maybe cards; I think I pretty much cover 90% of the cards out there that synergies with a Brago (with less stax cards). Play test and tell me what you think!
