Mystic Reflection

Instant

Choose target nonlegendary creature. The next time one or more creatures or planeswalkers enter the battlefield this turn, they enter as copies of the chosen creature.

Foretell (During your turn you may and exile this card from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost.)

While I think this deck is a little too control heavy (may cross the line to the point where other players can't play the game due to you having every creature), I really like and respect your design philosophy. It's so dull to make a deck that just sits down and does the same thing every game.

I would like to suggest Mystic Reflection as a cool spell. It is rather cheap, especially when foretold, and can really throw a wrench into the works in a fun way that people just aren't expecting. It could turn their commander into any other creature on the battlefield... Or duplicate one of your own. Alternatively maybe someone just made 30 goblin tokens and you turn them all into Sphinx of Enlightenment and now they have to draw 90 cards.

You might like Double Major and/or Mystic Reflection, both seem on theme and Reflection can be used aggressively vs an opponent's creature. Reflections is very good with effects that make lots of tokens simultaneously, such as with Ezuri's Predation, those two can easily win the game.

Does Proteus Staff make any sense in here? You have some token makers, this would turn a token into a main deck creature for a few mana. Another random card that might fit is Tyrite Sanctum, this can make your God Commander Indestructible in one step I think.

Really out there thoughts here, but have you even considered Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait/Tatyova, Benthic Druid? I think you have enough lands/land ramp to justify them, if I had 37 enchantments I'd run stuff like Verduran Enchantress I suspect. I also wonder about Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, if you have Aesi/Tatyova out, any non-token creature that ETBs will draw you a card, I think you could use it as a backup Commander in a pinch, since it turns all your non-tokens into lands.

Sorry, I meant Mystic Reflection for that combo at the end

I think the most recent one I'd like to make happen would be Crafty Cutpurse + Mystic Reflection + The Phasing of Zhalfir.

Deck looks great! Ezuri is such a cool commander and was my first deck as well. One card I didn’t notice in your list that I feel deserves a place is Mystic Reflection the card is made for a deck like this. Playing it after casting something like Avenger of Zendikar or Hornet Queen is so much value but it can also be used to turn off problem creatures your opponents try to cast, such as Thassa's Oracle by turning them into plant tokens. It’s a card that definitely warrants testing.

Your deck looks sweet. I also have a Chun-Li deck and I want to make 3 recommendations.

The first card I recommend is Release to the Wind, you can cast this right at the end step before your turn to cast Chin-li for free so then you can focus on only spending mana to kick chun-li instead of paying 3 for her initial cost. You can even exile Release to the Wind with Chun-li and do it again if you ever want to put more kick counters on things.

I also went with a heavy token approach, we selected very similar cards! You should definitely run Mystic Reflection it is so good with cards like Secure the Wastes and Call the Coppercoats. You can just copy tons of opponents creatures.

My last suggestion is Vesuvan Duplimancy. Any time you target Chun-li you can make a copy of her, the copies can still cast the kicked cards. This cards not officially out yet. But it will be out very soon!

I’d love if you checked out my Chun-li deck here: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/13-08-22-kicking-and-screaming/
