Intro

This is the list of my 1:1 real life The Ur-Dragon deck. It's by far my favorite and most played edh commander. This deck has it's pros and cons but it has a very satisfactory win rate for me since I play it between a high power and casual playgroup. This list have a big maybeboard of all the cards that I consider interesting so any suggestion will be very appreciate.

Pro's and Con's

• Dragon's :)

• Perfect of a casual playgroup

• got enough recursion to survive boardwipe and removal

• flying

Con's

• not for 1 vs 1

• often being the target (Dragons are scary)

• need early ramping

• 5 color

• strugle against control deck

• strugle against land's destruction

• need Politics vs high power playgroups

• poor at life gain

WinCon//combo

• The Ur-Dragon is the the principal wincon of this deck, his ability can flip the boardstate into a win. the objectif is to put the commander as soon as possible on the battlefield and attack with it. With Sylvia Brightspear put on the battlefield with the The Ur-Dragon ability, it can give a 20 commander damage surprise.

• Dragon Broodmother + Kindred Discovery = draw each turn

• Dragon Broodmother + Dragon Tempest or Terror of the Peaks = damages each turn

• Magda, Brazen Outlaw + Old Gnawbone = free dragon

• Sarkhan's Unsealing + Dragonmaster Outcast

• Ramos, Dragon Engine → Scion of the Ur-Dragon = free mana to cast The Ur-Dragon or help to cast Finale of Devastation → Atarka, World Render

• Hellkite Charger + Old Gnawbone

Eclusions

• Dragonspeaker Shaman : Great for early ramp but loose is effectiveness against removal. replaced with Sakura-Tribe Elder

• Dragonlord's Servant : Same issue as Dragonspeaker Shaman.

• Crucible of Fire : Provide great damage output with multiples dragons but automatically become the target of opponents. Enchantments that provide haste to creatures have a better chance to deal more damage since the creature could be target of removals the next turn.

• Dragonlord Kolaghan : Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund is better

• O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami : his ability is too situational.

• Steel Hellkite : it's underwhelming. Is high converted cost mana creature and is second ability have too much criteria to use in my opinion.

• Crosis, the Purger : I replaced with Nicol Bolas, the Ravager   to keep my mana curve low

• Zendikar Resurgent : Too much late game. I replaced with Mirari's Wake.

• Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius : Great card in general but is mana cost is too arkward for this deck.

• Earthquake : It deals damage to you as a player and we dont have a lot of life gain in this deck
