Introducing Cumly Cube 1.3! Two years ago, Cumly Cube was updated to Cumly Cube 1.2, creating a balanced cube and wonderful play experience for all involved. Despite these changes, there remained some minor flaws in the card pool. I am now pleased to announce that, after extensive research and design, Cumly Cube has reached a final form. No card is too powerful. No card is too weak. Synergy is abundant. Both the draft and play experiences are dynamic, exciting, and new. There will be no more major updates to Cumly Cube 1.
120 cards have been removed, and 120 cards have been added. Here are the changes, provided with brief justifications:

I would consider cutting Krenko, Mob Boss because it's a bit slow outside of dedicated goblins, Also Soul of Zendikar because it is also slow. I personally don't really like Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter either. And while Essence Warden, Soul Warden, and Soul's Attendant are all good cards I think having all 3 is a bit much. I would consider cutting one.

Hey, I like the changes you've made, well done.
Armada Wurm is a good high CMC creature upgrade and it makes many other high CMC creatures here not needed. Creatures such as Soul of Zendikar, Tendershoot Dryad, Thragtusk, Rampaging Baloths, Wingmate Roc. These creatures and the token they can create for their mana costs are not better with or without Ghired than what Armada gives you for six mana. When you get Doubling and Lives these are creatures who could be cut.
Another place to think about upgrades is the manabase. The precon manabase is decent, but there's still too many lands that will always ETB tapped making it slow. Some dual lands that can ETB tapped are fine such as Check lands and Battle lands, but these lands can ETB untapped and have a much better chance of doing that because of the high number of basic lands.
Currently Farseek can only search for Cinder Glade meaning it can't search for a dual land that can make white mana. What makes Farseek a good card is it can be dual land ramp which also makes it color fixing. Canopy Vista is a land to consider adding.
With the current manabase consider these lands upgrades:
- Canopy Vista > Graypelt Refuge
- Karplusan Forest > Rugged Highlands
- Brushland > Sungrass Prairie
- Rugged Prairie or Battlefield Forge > Wind-Scarred Crag
- Rootbound Crag > Gruul Turf
- Sunpetal Grove > Selesnya Sanctuary
Like the Talismans the Pain lands will ETB untapped, you pay 1 life to make colored mana or they can make colorless mana without paying life. This is fine though, don't be afraid to use your life as a resource in 40 life Commander especially if you're playing cards that can gain you life later on in a game. Brushland and Karplusan are nice because they can ETB untapped turn one to cast a green one drop mana dork.
The Check lands are fine lands when playing a lot of basic lands in the manabase. Rootbound and Sunpetal will ETB untapped if you control just one Forest which is the most lands of the manabase. Of course Pain lands and Check lands can be even further upgraded with Shock lands and other Rainbow lands, but this is a start to consider for manabase upgrades.

What's the max budget you have to make card upgrades? When you finish making upgrades what price range can you have for total deck cost? The precon for example at $60 is low and I would hope you could afford at least $50 for upgrades. If you can afford more expensive price cards then my card suggestions will be different then if you can't. Smothering Tithe and Birds of Paradise for example are very good cards for ramp, but they might be too expensive for the budget.
What advice about upgrades would you like?
Some cards from the precon that can be cut since they're not as good as others or don't have good enough synergy with Ghired:
- Blossoming Sands
- Graypelt Refuge
- Kazandu Refuge
- Rugged Highlands
- Cliffside Rescuer: can only protect something once which is not worth it when there's options that can be repeatable.
- Doomed Artisan: these tokens are not worth populating.
- Roc Egg: has to die before it does anything.
- Heart-Piercer Manticore: can be fine as creature removal, but I think there's better options.
- Scaretiller: too slow as ramp or anything else.
- Tahngarth, First Mate: belongs in it's own deck as Commander General.
- Atla Palani, Nest Tender
: belongs in her own deck as Commander General.
- Soul of Zendikar: there's better six drops to play.
- Emmara Tandris: there's better seven drops to play.
- Tectonic Hellion: yikes.
- Desolation Twin: too much mana and the token is lackluster with no evasion.
- Commander's Insignia: not a good anthem effect for four mana.
- Full Flowering: this doesn't do anything unless you a lot of mana and a have a token on the battlefield to populate.
- Trostani's Judgment: there's much better lower mana cost options to exile a creature. Getting to also populate is not worth four or five extra mana.
- Soul Foundry: too slow.

Cards that I would cut:
Regeneration , Executioner's Hood , Natural End , Bladed Pinions , Revive , Nature's Spiral , Staff of the Wild Magus , Crashing Footfalls awesome if you can cheat the suspend on it, not worth it otherwise, Prodigious Growth , Feasting Troll King and Trail of Crumbs you lack enough of a food theme to run these well enough to include, Moldgraf Monstrosity the random return makes this lackluster, Jaddi Lifestrider , Soul of Zendikar the activation is kind of expensive, Tuinvale Treefolk doesn't do enough to warrant inclusion, Canopy Cover and Web auras not the best here, I'd cut one of Planewide Celebration or Once and Future , and finally, Sandsteppe Mastodon
If you own one, I'd sub out Wall of Blossoms for Elvish Visionary for the synergy with Elvish Archdruid .
No Sol Ring ? This a ban in local meta?
If you happen to own them, some cards that you may want to think about: Tendershoot Dryad , Beast Within , Inspiring Call and Garruk, Primal Hunter . Yes, that means more cutting but they should be worth it in this deck.
I'd also add a Rogue's Passage in place of one Forest , just for some added punchthrough that is hard to remove.

I think you need more token producers that double as manasinks. Using Radha-ability mana on cards feels like you'll end up overextending fast. Centaur Glade is not bad. Dragon Roost is expensive but may work. Myr Matrix is resilient. Night Soil doubles as GY hate. Ant Queen , Jade Mage , Soul of Zendikar etc.
