Conquering Manticore, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Feast on the Fallen, All Is Dust, Obliterate, Obelisk of Grixis, Darksteel Ingot, Nevinyrral's Disk, Sepulchral Primordial, Stingmoggie, Panharmonicon, Drakestown Forgotten, Dominus of Fealty, and Olivia Voldaren are what I'd suggest for cuts.

One addition I forgot to recommend though... Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. You have flayer of the hatebound already, so you should know how gross undying is here.

MrFertilid Thank you for your suggestions! I realized after reading your comments that 99% of the time when I play Marath, Will of the Wild I don't use his ability to move counters. Normally I fire damage at creatures or players and make 1/1 tokens. I need to think outside the box more.

I love your suggestion of Archangel of Thune and Spike Weaver. I'm so glad the former is getting a reprint so that I can hopefully afford one. I have a Ghave, Guru of Spores deck I have been tweaking which has a focus on going wide with tokens so I know it'll find a home! I will definitely make use of Illusionist's Bracers too!

I think I will hold off on the Shinewend and Stingmoggie only because I want the creature to have an ETB effect for use with my tutor cards like Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order, Eldritch Evolution, and Chord of Calling. A lot of my stuff dies as soon as it comes down so I need to get some value off an ETB. Thank you so much for looking at my deck and making suggestions.

I will check out some of your decks, cheers!

I definitely think it could replace Naturalize because of the insane amount of many this deck ends up having. However, I don't own one and it also depends on what I'm playing at the time, 1v1 or multiplayer. If I'm playing 1v1 I really don't need the removal because the game will be over by the time anything important is played. I have it in the deck for multiplayer games, which are most of my games, just so I have some sort of interaction if I'm desperate. I also just added Stingmoggie to the deck yesterday which helps out.

Smokebraider and Generator Servant can enable Ashenmoor Liege, Embodiment of Fury, Nova Chaser or Stingmoggie. Still, pushing up on the curve probably isn't the right call- I'd consider Shared Animosity and Flamekin Harbinger first, and if you're going to splash, Ceaseless Searblades/Lavaclaw Reaches/Wandering Fumarole, as it doesn't take a lot of slots and provides a nice tiebreaker against lifegain.

lagotripha on What the Deus...where'd my land go?

Land destruction- Traditionally, the rush to 5 lands has been for Plow Under, with Molten Rain, Rain of Tears, Boom/Bust/Darksteel Citadel, Acidic Slime, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss and so forth for pure land destruction, but using Deus of Calamity for beatdown is interesting. Spells like Anger of the Gods will likely be useful to cut down early aggression for opponents and some classic ramping elves could provide devotion and help reach that 'I'm hitting you and you can't stop me' stage. not a fan of hedonist compared to something like Elvish Mystic, but both would probably be the right thing, and let you fill those higher mana slots simpler. All told, Avalanche Riders/Goblin Ruinblaster/Acidic Slime/Faultgrinder/Incendiary Command/Stingmoggie in the top slots and some ramp will perform reasonably well. If you want to go the hasty beatdown with land destruction to hold off control decks, something like Alpha Authority or Bear Umbra will be good. Best of luck

No prob! It looks great and if I had to think of one card to add to your deck it would probably be Retreat to Kazandu. It works great with Fertilid for recurring land drops and if he's not on the board just gain life or boost your other creatures. Another card that works with it is Stingmoggie if you wish to add that. I just love the deck!

Hi, I just found your deck and wanted to tell you that I really dig it. I have always liked the Spikeshot Goblin and have had a few decks running them for many years. My favorite use of them was in a deck with copies of Grafted Wargear on the goblin and War Elemental finishers . Amazing!

Anyways, My latest deck using the Forced Adaptation + Spikeshot Goblin synergy is primarily a burn deck and I wanted to suggest a few cards in case they have not come up before with your deck in mind. Forgive me if they have been suggested before.

First, the Inferno Of Fling Chandra's Ignition. I just found this card recently and it can be a giant finisher. Even in multiplayer. Shoots all of your opponents and all other creatures.
Stingmoggie: This is an amazing answer to artifacts and would be an excellent sideboard card for your deck. I run it main for the land hate and the long game. Fertilid also has synergy with Forced Adaptation and thins your library. With your Gyre Sage this is not as good but is an option.
Spikeshot Elder: Another power-balling goblin in case you were selectable damage source light.
Ring of Valkas: I do not know if you want another counter source but this is an equipment version of Forced Adaptation. Grants counters to red creatures like the goblins and dragons. Has the added benefit of granting them haste while equipped which can be useful depending on the board state. There is also one for each other color: Ring of Evos Isle confers hexproof and counters up blue creaturs. Ring of Kalonia counters up green ones and grants trample.

I just wanted to mention these in case you had not seen them. I like your deck and the synergy with the guildmage is awesome.
