Bladed Pinions Discussion
Thanks for the suggestion, Balaam__! My thought goal with Bladed Pinions was to incorporate more evasion, as none of the Squirrels have any, and with Toski, Bearer of Secrets , it really pays to evade. Additionally, I don't want to spend a ton of mana to play or equip, so more powerful options, while alluring, don't seem better. I considered something like Pridemalkin , Tuskguard Captain , and Bramblewood Paragon , but none are directly related to squirrels, and all are greater targets for removal, so I went with a less powerful option? I'd love to hear your thoughts on all that along with how your suggestion of Lightning Greaves factors in!

No problem. I feel as though Bladed Pinions could be replaced with something better, although I don’t know what off the top of my head. All things considered, squirrels are well represented here.
-Edit: try Lightning Greaves in place of the pinions

There's a few Legacy Ninja lists running around, same idea with the 0 CMC creatures! I'd recommend giving Modern Horizons a look through, they printed a LOT of ninja support in there!
Just a few creature upgrade suggestions, Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow can put in a lot of work, drawing you cards and draining your opponent (I think a lot of people overlook this due to "Commander Ninjitsu," but it states you can either play it from your hand or the command zone, so it's all good!). Same goes with Ingenious Infiltrator .
If you end up going that route, Changeling Outcast is another unblockable ninja enabler.
Depends on how cutthroat of a playgroup you're playing against, but I would suggest cutting the bounce lands for some fetches (whatever you can afford). A LOT of legacy decks run things like Strip Mine , and having your bounceland destroyed is setting you back almost two turns, making it a steep climb to catch back up.
Overall, the ninja strategy is pretty quick! In your current build, I don't see a lot of interaction with what your opponent is doing. Since you're running Dimir, you have a PLETHORA of interaction options, from Counterspell to Go for the Throat or Dismember and Thoughtseize . I'd recommend at least having some permission, removal, and hand control effects in your sideboard. If you'd like to double down on the aggressive ninja strat, Smoke Shroud can help with evasion and a small power boost.
In terms of specific cuts, I'd recommend cutting Minamo Sightbender , Sinister Possession Bladed Pinions Shuriken . I think there are more recent cards out there that do the same thing these do with a lower CMC!

Your list is coming together. Personally, I feel like you need a few more lands. Your ramp is good, but not good enough to drop below the 35-38 land recommendation.
One thing that might be fun is to work in more creatures with First Strike to take even more advantage of the mass Deathtouch. Not a ton of good creatures (i.e. efficient Rares) in these colors that are also Party Members but there are some. Perhaps two or three things like Bladed Pinions, Sword of Vengeance, and Chariot of Victory? Chariot is perticularly good since the Trample means you can assign one damage to the blocker and the rest tramples over.

Love this deck! Loxodon Warhammer, Shadowspear, and O-Naginata for some trample might help on the punch through. Bladed Pinions just make Gwyn stupid hard to block, and Golem-Skin Gauntlets make her hit even harder. Keep it up!

Playing Yuriko myself if I'm trying some interesting effects to exploit a strange mechanic like Ninjutsu. I strongly suggest you to try playing some first strike enablers (there's not a ton in UB, but nevermind) like Bladed Pinions .
Figure this: first striking ninja attacking, dealing damage triggers Yuriko, then Ninjutsu in another ninja to get another trigger during the normal damage step.
Maybe it's a bit too cute, but I think building double strike in UB is worth a shot!
