DECK SUMMARY:

A lot of cool synergies. Funnest have been...

  • Hexplate Wallbreaker + Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist + Any Goad + good equip triggers like Helm of the Host/Moonsilver Spear/Strength-Testing Hammer/Sword of the Animist. You use your first combat to Ardenn mega stack the Hexplate Wallbreaker, attack, get a bunch of gains. Then on the 2nd combat Ardenn all the equipment onto a goaded opponent's creature... end you're turn, watch the show as they double wallop an enemy with it all and you get a bunch of cards drawn, or angels, or lands or whatever. Is good fun.

  • Equipping Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer for a world war.

  • Any evasive 2 drop + Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist *f-etch* for the constant card income.

  • Blade of Shared Souls, Ardening it onto an opponent's creature to turn it into a copy of Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist *f-etch*. Then when you attack the other opponent you draw 2 cards!

  • Mechanized Production or Echo Storm on most any equip. You can get 4 4/4 angels a turn, Moonsilver Spear, you can start killing enemy creatures with mass Skullclamp. Or Fiendlash, whenever the creature takes damage, you choose, not the creature's controller, where to deal it's power in damage to a player... for each Fiendlash on it. A lot of good fun.

  • Assault Suit, Ardenning it onto an opponent's creature. Why get your hands dirty? Stealing an opponent's commander and killing them with it is so 2020. The real hotness nowadays is all hands off. Get someone else to steal an opponent's commander to kill its owner with it.

  • Shifting Shadow an opponent's creature, when it gets RNG'ed into a weenie, move Shifting Shadow to another critter with Ardenn. Or put it on your own critter, when you like what you see, Ardenn it off. A lil wonky since the sac and new critter doesn't keep equipment and auras and Ardenn likes to move around stacks of those each turn. It's a lil situational.

  • Anything with Reconfigure, like Lizard Blades. If you equip it onto a critter and a board wipe happens it pops off and becomes a critter itself. So when your turn roles around you can replay Ardenn and dump all your equips onto it and swing.

===PERSONAL NOTES====

remove Pariahs shield and maybe the metamorph for more stalemate breaking cards... something to help get your damage through (kill their creatures, evasion for yours, more damage on equips, odd control swap whatever cards. Anything good in that general family of things.) If I get more equipment worth copying, I can put in Masterful Replication. Can go over equipment again and touch it up for that.

still gotta fix the mana base.

not enough goad, so maybe add in a few tutors? especially for goad equip. Added godo and Brother's War, maybe need 1-2 more.

probably should add in more indestructible or hexproof equips.

probably should touch up the control portion of the deck.

=============

ADD: Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer. Firkraag, Cunning Instigator.
Check out Backgrounds. You have 2 cheapish commanders, so potentially fat gains.

WORK OUT AVERAGE EARLYGAME TURN 1/2/3/4.... SORT CARDS INTO PLAYABLE TURN 1/2/3/4....

Since the copy guy was super niche usefull... he mostly seemed to get a step up over people so when Im doing good sometimes i can beat them the hell down... having red seems a lot more entertaining.

jeskai -> feeling pretty beat-em-up. Just too often its so much more effective to load up one of my creatures.... no swords and less 'for the sake of damage' equipment... more utility? The mana curve got a lot rougher too. Better high value stuffs.

need more draw/sift ways of maintaining consistent mana. I think if I go balls to the wall with sift, go 120 cards with flicker dude, it'll be a fine deck.

I really don't like that side commander. It's dead space 100% of the time, OR worse... where i have to go agro early... which is the opposite of the deck. (1) more controlly auras. (2) swap to just blue... (3) more scry/sift...

Sift then good draw at 4/5 would be perfect? 1-2 mana sift/control cards are really nice.

a bit light on the equip stats... a bit clunked up with 3/4 mana costs
