Robe of Stars

Artifact — Equipment

Equipped creature gets +0/+3.

Astral Projection: Equipped creature phases out. (Treat it and anything attached to it as though they don’t exist until its controller’s next turn.)

Equip (: Attach to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery. This card enters the battlefield unattached and stays on the battlefield if the creature this card is attached to leaves the battlefield.)

amarthaler: Thanks for the kind words! Robe of Stars is cool, I just never found a place for it. Cryptic, Mystic, and Paladin are all great cards, they've just never made their way into the deck, the latter two probably because this started as an Aura deck. Shadowspear is already in the deck, but yes it's a great card!

Great build! I gathered a lot of good ideas from the cards you have listed for my Geist deck. I don't really have too many suggestions since you've built it quite well. Maybe play around with Robe of Stars to help protect Geist, Cryptic Command is always nice interaction, and Stoneforge Mystic or Puresteel Paladin for cheating equipment. I also like Shadowspear a lot.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on my deck as well!

Nice build! Robe of Stars is perfect for this, and can help your commander survive a lot. Spirit Link is another good one - you can either use it on your commander for lifelink, or disable an opponent's combat threat. Bloodforged Battle-Axe can get nutty, particularly with Wyleth. It's basically exactly what you want.

One question: why Rings of Brighthearth? Seems like it only synergizes with like 4 other cards in the entire deck. Am I missing some?

Out: Wall of Roots and Secret Door

In: Robe of Stars and Glaring Spotlight

I'd like to play test Robe of Stars and Glaring Spotlight in this deck to increase protection of my creatures. To make room for these two cards, I removed what I think are the weaker Defenders in the deck in terms of payoff.

If you're looking at w/g voltron with counters, you've got to have Robe of Stars. Helps your commander survive board wipes with counters intact, basically an amazing card.

This being an aura focused deck and Robe of Stars being an equipment places it outside of the requirements but thank you for the suggestion.

Not sure what you think of this, but I might suggest Spirit Link as an alternative to Felidar Umbra, only if you feel like you have enough protection already, since it's cheaper and the lifegain can stack with lifelink. The ability to move the Felidar umbra is also really useful, but I feel like it's less needed in voltron.

Another awesome card for protection: Robe of Stars. Not an enchantment, sadly, but it's pretty great for voltron in spite of that.
