theanimetrix I haven't tried out Geode Rager yet mostly because he competes for a slot with Warmonger Hellkite and I really like this card. Hellkite is a bit faster because Rager practically requires 7 mana to work and the fire breathing is great whith survivors no matter who controls them. However Rager seems to be a more consistent card overall because goading is really good, so you made a great call.

Geode Rager could be a good addition to force enemies attack each other. Looks like a fun deck!

Hey man, I haven't been on TO in ages so I apologise for the huge delay in messaging back!

In regards to omens, it was simply a budget choice.

The list is mostly the same. I've added Geode Rager and Valakut Exploration which have been pretty fun, as well as Mnemonic Deluge for huge splashy plays!

There are two big changes I'm playing around with atm - changing the commander to Krark and Kydele for SS, and or Togoo and Kydele for token shenanigans. I played with krark last night and blew out the table pretty quickly... I did get lucky with consistent successful coin flips... but essentially, I played / copiedBrass's Bounty like 10+ times in one turn, and then drew my deck.. which is an issue because,

My play group has been depowering lately, and so I hardly get to play the deck anymore. I thought krark would just make things less consistent, both in terms of coin flipping, as well as removing the draw engine that makes Omanth so consistent, but turns out that may not be the case :P. I was toying around with just ele / land tribal, but I thought a toggo / kydele (Thrasois would be more synergistic, but he's also expensive lol) would be more fun, as I can essentially make it a brudiclad secret commander deck and hope it's enough to be more playable in lower power levels. I think I've worked out a list where I can change about 15 or so cards and shift between tokens and SS, but we'll see.

How's your deck coming? Any evolutions, or spicy new Inclusions?

I have Agitator Ant in another build, but it should work here as well. Geode Rager is worth a look, too.

I've almost got this deck complete (minus the city of brass and said Praetors, lol!) My placeholders are fun big baddies like Archetype of Finality and Archetype of Endurance , Sun Titan , Geode Rager , Marisi, Breaker of the Coil , Admonition Angel (for fishing up Acidic Slime and Fierce Empath before the big combat). The goading from Marsi or Geode is great because it causes so much chaos after your own combat they usually forget about my Angel or when I start fishing for Door to Nothingness :)

Upon testing, I feel the deck needs some card draw and I'm not sure how to improve that with this particular gimmick. If I had a few ways to draw a bunch right before I trigger Codie that would be perfect. Faeburrow Elder and Golos, Tireless Pilgrim are amazing together so I put in Jegantha, the Wellspring for some redundancy.

Consider adding a Geode Rager to this build. You could play a land and goad one of your opponents then because that opponents critters will be tapped out on your next turn you could full swing with multiple attack phases at that opponent or if able to play 2-3 lands in a turn goad all opponents then attack one opponent during each of your combat phases while they are tapped out due to being forced to full swing during their previous turns.
