Noble Heritage
Legendary Enchantment — Background
Commander creatures you own have "When this creature enters the battlefield and at the beginning of your upkeep, each player may put two +1/+1 counters on a creature they control. For each opponent who does, you gain protection from that player until your next turn." ((Remember the acronym debt.) You can't be damaged, enchanted, equipped, blocked or targeted by anything controlled or casted by that player. Anything controlled by that player attached to you immediately falls off.)

Suggestions:
- Ash Barrens, Evolving Wilds, and Terramorphic Expanse with Command Tower, Command Power Plant, and Command Mine. 3 land swap to replace land consistency with mana flexibility.
- the 10 Ravnica signets with: Reliquary Tower, Reflecting Pool
, Path of Ancestry, The World Tree, Second City, Exotic Orchard, Reflective Gate, Commander's Sphere, Vexing Puzzlebox, and Guided Passage. 10 artifacts for 7 lands, 2 artifacts, and 1 sorcery [10 total]. This reduces rate of low/no-land hands while still offering mana flexibility and other utility. - 2 of each basic land for the OG duals: Savannah, Scrubland, Taiga, Bayou, Underground Sea, Plateau, Tundra, Tropical Island, Volcanic Island, Badlands. This increases consistency in mana flexibility.
- Kibo, Uktabi Prince with Yes Man, Personal Securitron. Direct group hugging that ultimately rewards you when Yes dies.
- Harrow with The Ring Goes South. Due to the high density of Legends, this will simply net more lands.
- Tempt with Mayhem with Brass's Tunnel-Grinder. This replaces a situational spell with a short-term hand filter that turns into a value engine land after transforming.
- Skyscribing with Choice of Fortunes. This swaps a costly recurring draw/big draw spell with a draw 2 that also grands infinite hand size.
- Noble Heritage with Noble Benefactor. This trades a temperamental protection for an easily activated tutor.
- Caged Sun with Chromatic Orrery. Caged Sun does not well benefit 5color decks, while Orrery perfectly mana fixes while flexing as a draw engine if necessary.
- Well of Knowledge for Dictate of Kruphix. Kruphix does it for free. Benevolent Offering for Selvala, Explorer Returned. Lower impact but Selvala is stable resource generation plus mana and life.
- Fact or Fiction with Defense of the Heart. Unfortunately FoF is a one-shot injection of cards while Defense pulls creatures of your choice to better toolbox situations.
- Alliance of Arms, The Second Doctor, and Acorn Catapult with Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Norn's Annex. Pillow forting a little always helps.
- Plated Pegasus with Wheel of Fortune. Spell damage is less common than abilities, so better replace it with a hand refill.
Try these out.

Can I also add +1/+1 counters to my stuff using Noble Heritage or is it only opponents that can utilize that offer?

I'm in the process of brewing a deck with Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Shameless Charlatan with the idea of turning Wilson into a copy of whatever is the best creature on the battlefield. Wilson's cheap to cast and has some baked in protection and nice abilities in case there's nothing great to copy. I'll be putting a bunch of +1/+1 and ability counters on Wilson. Kind of a build my own voltron.
I also built a background tribal deck with Tana, the Bloodsower and Tymna the Weaver at the helm called You Came From Where?. Its pretty low budget (I just bought some cards to slightly improve the mana base) but it can be surprisingly powerful. Its not surprising, but Noble Heritage and Raised by Giants are really, really good with Tana and Tymna. I've made tons of saprolings and gained a whole lot of life very quickly. Basically partner commanders are very strong with backgrounds.
Overall I really like what they did with them. They meet the need that Battle for Baldur's Gate had for the draft environment without really breaking things like the partner mechanic kind of has.

Harmonic Prodigy doubles both the triggers from Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer & Noble Heritage since background abilities originates from the creature commander. Worth keeping in mind for other creature/background pairings where triggers and wizards/shamans are involved.

Hello fellow Noble!Baeloth aficionado, just wanted to pop in to suggest Harmonic Prodigy since it works with both Baeloth's Treasure triggers and Noble Heritage's counter triggers (because it actually gives the ability to Baeloth, who is a Shaman).
