Key Ideas

  1. Draw.

  2. Ramp using Artifacts.

  3. Buffs and assists for Artifacts.

  4. Ways to tutor / cheat Artifacts on to the field.

  5. Ways to return Artifacts from the grave or stop them dying.

  6. Unblockable and Indestructible cards, or ways to achieve these.

  7. Spells to clear Opponent attackers off the field, tax them when attacking, or force less Creatures to attack me.

Win Cons

  1. Flying combat damage.

  2. Large Unblockable Creatures.

  3. Blow Artifacts up to deal direct damage.

Former Infinite Combos

I have removed all infinite combos.
I find them a very unenjoyable way to play Magic.
It becomes a game of removing certain opponent pieces, or playing with yourself. Pun intended.

  1. Paint Pili-Pala with Grand Architect then repeatedly use Grand Architect to tap Pili-Pal, creating , pay the to untap Pili-Pala, and get 1 mana of any colour in your mana pool.

  2. Have Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle on the field. Play either Pia and Kiran Nalaar (preferred for their direct damage option) or Whirler Rogue. Sac one Thopter and the Creature that produced the Thopter. This creates . Return the Creature to the field by paying the you have produced, to activate Nim Deathmantle. Two Thopters will also enter the field. In this way you can make infinite Thopters. If you sac both Thopters you can make an extra , giving you infinite mana. Of course you can also do both of these things.

Suggestions

Updates Add

After watching a lot of the Command Zone recently, I decided to make some major changes to this deck.

I have taken all the Counter spells out. My play group doesn't like them, and I don't particularly like using them. They use up my resources to deal with problems, once people know I have them.

I've replaced them with things like Chaos Warp and Introduction to Annihilation, which I've had my eye on for a while. I think it's a better Scour from Existence. I've also got a couple of Enchantments that lock things down.

I've also put more Creatures in, and more Artifacts in general. Particularly those which help to ramp. The overall curve has been lowered, too.

I added more Artifacts that make my Creatures unblockable, and it turns out that I've wanted to use some of them for years, such as Trailblazer's Boots

The deck has playtested very well, and I'm finding it lots more fun. I like this new name much better, as it's unique. I considered House of Jhoira, but this has more flavour.
