Artifact Creature — Juggernaut
Whenever another artifact enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Crusher.
Modular 1 (This enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. When it's put into a graveyard, you may put its +1/+1 counters on target artifact creature.)
Arcbound Crusher Discussion

jaymc1130 yes! I considered going wide instead of tall. My initial build had Arcbound Ravager + Arcbound Crusher + Retrofitter Foundry + Hangarback Walker and other such cards. I felt like it took the deck into a full spam direction, and other cards for even better synergy. Me thinks Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain might be better suited for that type of build. I do think Mirrodin Besieged offers awesome value to Urza though. I'll see what can go out for it. Thanks!

Not sure if you have budget restrictions but I’d recommend Treasure Nabber , Goblin Engineer , Ur-Golem's Eye , Sisay's Ring , maybe Arcbound Crusher for something janky that will get big and you can toss with Bosh. I know the name of the game is jank, but... Mycosynth Lattice would be awesome in this deck—if everything becomes an artifact you can then copy all activated abilities! Wanderer's Twig for another ramp option. Junk Diver and Myr Retriever for some recursion.
That Jester's Cap with your commander is spicy! I like that a lot.

Hey, nice deck.
I think Mind's Eye is not so powerfull, maybe for the sideboard against blue. Maybe play some Ornithopter or Memnite for cheap defense and pushing Arcbound Crusher . Did you thought about Amulet of Safekeeping in your sideboard as counterspell?

Section 1 Get +1/+1 counters other than attacking
Arcbound stuff by CMC (some are in other categories): Arcbound Worker, Arcbound Slith, Arcbound Stinger, Arcbound Crusher, Arcbound Hybrid, Arcbound Bruiser, Arcbound Fiend, Arcbound Lancer, Arcbound Overseer
Creature type based: Metallic Mimic
Just because it is an artifact: Steel Overseer
Creatures that already have counters:
Sacrifice outlets to consider:
- Culling Dais
- Demonmail Hauberk
- Blasting Station
- Metalwork Colossus
- Phyrexian Vault
- Spawning Pit
- Shivan Harvest
- Arcbound Ravager
Other: Control: Wizard Replica

Cheating: Summoner's Egg
Other cards I like
Vela the Night-Clad She makes all your colorless permanents only blockable by an artifact
Storm the Vault Mana ramp
Liquimetal Coating some of those creature that are not a artifact... now it is
Phyrexian Scriptures Kill all non-artifact creatures / also places a +1/+1 counter

Hi, there! Deck looks solid for budget colorless, but for some optimization I'd suggest to remove some of the lesser artifact creatures and equipment (I'd go for the Manakin, Sparring Construct, Bone Saw, Short Sword etc) and put in Loxodon Warhammer, Grappling Hook which can double as both removal and double strike buff, maybe go old-school and combine it with Kusari-Gama for one-player boardwipe. O-Naginata is nice but only if you have it already since the commander has trample so it's redundant. Hammer of Nazahn, Darksteel Plate or Shield of Kaldra are nice options to protect Traxos, but they are like 5$+. For creatures you can add Steel Hellkite which is a budget staple and moonlights as removal for stuff you normally can't kill (enchantments most notably) and Arcbound Crusher can get massive with the amount of artifacts in the deck. Semi-budget back-up target for all the equipments (if say a Darksteel Mutation befalls Traxos) is Etched Champion since it has protection from all colors. A bit of a more gimmicky suggestion is Conqueror's Galleon Flip - it can draw(biggest problem in colorless), cycle and return stuff from the graveyard, however it takes certain effort to flip it.
Hope I helped, cheers!

buckeyetron Mill is inconsistent
Sure, if and when your deck isn't built specifically to aim to mill your opponent and a "oh whoops i've milled everyone" then yes, its inconsistent. That's why you have more than one wincon in a deck. You're playing Altar to combo with something else, not just for shiggles and no defined outcome.
the "Bomberman" combo is Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond. It wins by using the infinite mana and feeding it into either infinite damage e.g.Walking Ballista, mill e.g.Altar of the Brood or by hitting people in the face Monastery Mentor/Arcbound Crusher
Altar of the Brood is not a win con, period. it can't just be thrown into any deck as a backup. it requires too many specific things.
It is easier to win with a "Bomberman" combo and an outlet such as infinite damage/mill/hitting someone in the face than it is to incidentally gain 150 life and ping 3 people.
putting a permanent into play is not a "combo", nor is it the only thing you need to make Altar of the Brood a win con
you play LED. you mill your opponent for 1. you sac LED, gain 3 mana and you bring it back with Auriok Salvagers's ability. you mill your opponents for 1. you sac LED, gain 3 mana and you bring it back with Auriok Salvager's ability. you mill your opponents for 1 etc etc
you keep pathetically mentioning "bomberman" but there is no card in existence with that name. thats because its a combo. a combo that you foolishly claimed you didnt need so long as you can put a permanent into play.
The "Bomberman" combo recurs a permenant into play infinitely and you get infinite Altar triggers. Hence where i said "The only combo you need is the ability to put a permanent into play and oh look, the deck has Bomberman that does exactly that."
Why 17 spells?
Spell #. Life Gained/Total Life Gained
After 17 spells you have gained over 150 life and gain use Aetherflux's ability 3 times.
