This is my first attempt at a competitive EDH deck. I'm usually more of a casual player in Commander and competitive in Standard/Sealed, but I wanted to make something that has a real chance of winning in larger EDH games with the shop owner and other experienced players in the mix.

This is a pretty complex kind of combo deck, so I'm just going to focus on learning and establishing my favorite combos and keep refining from there.

I also want to add plenty of defense.. like cards that beef up my creatures with a lot of counters - both for Tayam's ability and for board presence - and also some good Wall creatures and other combat hindrances... to keep me from being attacked too much while I bide my time, waiting for the right combo pieces to come into play.

Okay, I found a new Tayam combo that might be one of the best, my fun and hilarious, yet poetically devastating and effective....

Core Combo 1: The All-Consuming Mass of the Eternal Cosmic Porcupine

Devoted Druid + Quillspike + Blade of Selves + Akroma's Memorial - (Also Primal Rage or Brawn)

OR

I can use Hydras... including Goldvein Hydra who already has Haste and Trample as well as Nyxborn Hydra who can enchant any creature with Trample and it won't have summoning sickness... so I would just need to add Myriad for it.

Core Combo: I Have Deathtouch

Vraska, Golgari Queen + Hydra Omnivore or any creature with Trample and Myriad...

Simple Aggro Wins

Buffed Devoted Druid + Finale of Devastation to bring in Siege Behemoth. All creatures would have trample so as long as I have one creature for each opponent I would win.

Alternatively, I could get the Hydra that deals combat damage to each player as it attacks (a Myriad effect)... As long as I have Brawn or something in the graveyard first.
