W/B Clerics was a tribal I always enjoyed playing, ever since the card Edgewalker came out. In the Onslaught block, a typical game would have Dark Supplicant, True Believer, Doomed Necromancer, Weathered Wayfarer and one of the gems of the set Rotlung Reanimator. In the days of non-EDH, this deck tended to hit its win conditions of Scion of Darkness, Doubtless One and a bunch of swinging zombies by turn 5. The sets after Scourge were not very incremental to the W/B so the deck didn't change very much in between.

The Ravnica block brought Teysa, Orzhov Scion who, while not a cleric, had undeniable synergies with the rest of the clerics. Any single mana cleric with Edgewalker and a sacrifice outlet suddenly became a ton of tokens and potential removal. Most importantly, it was a viable champion (and to date still arguably the best W/B one) to build around for EDH. Generally, the deck keeps itself afloat while you await a set of cards to pull a combo or you gain enough tempo. Having the colours of search, life gain and removal helps immensely here.

Skirsdag High Priest generated a ton of tempo whenever it hit the board and in some way it felt like a more repeatable Dark Supplicant. For a token deck, shoving a 5/5 flyer every turn happened too frequently.

Academy Rector is a beautiful card. It allows searching for some real game ending enchantments like Debtors' Knell or Enduring Renewal. Also, if killed in a board clear, pulling Necromancer's Covenant on their graveyard is a rude surprise.

Skullclamp is really worth searching for as a deck engine. It triggers Morbid and ETB with the benefit of cheap card draw. Probably my favorite use of servo/faerie tokens.

Combos and Synergies:

Children of Korlis + Edgewalker + Enduring Renewal = Infinite Many Things. Personally when Enduring Renewal hits the deck with an Edgewalker, your play area already feels generally immune to board clear.

Conspiracy + Rotlung Reanimator = Infinite Creatures

Rotlung Reanimator + Dark Supplicant = Scion of Darkness and 3 zombie tokens that can swing for 12

Edgewalker + Oketra's Monument + Orzhov Pontiff = -X/-X for opponent, +X/+X for self with some recursion

Daru Spiritualist + Shaman en-Kor + Starlit Sanctum = Infinite Life (personally I don't like this combo as much because the clerics here are only playable as part of this combo)

Daru Spiritualist + High Priest of Penance + Shaman en-Kor = Really interesting way to get multiple Vindicate off

Edgewalker + Enduring Renewal + Soul Warden = Another Infinite Life Combo

Teysa, Orzhov Scion + Twilight Drover = Tons of synergy between these two cards and Drover is probably superior than Custodi Soulbinders for over-time token generation and doesn't require tons of creatures already in play.
