Edgewalker + Remembrance + Thrumming Stone is absolute poetry. A clever yet terrifying engine.

Secret Salvage absolute janky bulk rare zero turns into this decks hero.

Imp's Mischief and Rebuff the Wicked offer this combo adequate protection.

Vanishing Verse surprisingly useful.

Battletide Alchemist or Master Apothecary worth a spot?

Starlit Sanctum might be useful.

Tainted Pact is not good in this deck either haha. My suggestion would be Boseiju, Who Shelters All. Urborg "fixes" it while it offers your game winning spells guaranteed delivery.

No reason not to add Tymna the Weaver as a commander partner to Ravos, Soultender as it will allow you to control when you want to play her.

Some good in tribe clerics matter cards to consider are Righteous Valkyrie, Taborax, Hope's Demise, Akroma's Devoted, Battletide Alchemist and Orah, Skyclave Hierophant.

Another cleric to look at would be Moon-Blessed Cleric, just for the ability to tutor up Necropotence alone should be worth it.

Also a short overview or primer of the deck would be helpful to better understand how you want the deck to win or particular synergies or combos your aiming for.

Yeah, those are great! Edgewalker is amazing because he also ramps you on notable card Battletide Alchemist. Oh, and I just thought of the best card for the deck: Winota, Joiner of Forces. This card is broken, giving you every creature you could ever want.

I really like that Angel of Destiny since it adds a win condition. The others are definitely worth looking into as well, but I'm not sure if I want to shift the deck toward black more. I like that it's primarily white with a little black splash. Any suggestions as to which cards are worth dropping to increase others to 4? I think most of the numbers were based on availability when I originally built it. Battletide Alchemist I really like, but it's higher cost so I kinda want to keep some of the cheaper damage reducers as well. I've also got a post up for this deck over on the Help forums. Thanks for the input though, GoblinElectromancer!

Hey everyone! I've got a White/Black Cleric deck that I'm wanting some advice on. As you'll see, it's largely focused on reducing damage and life gain. The current win conditions are pretty much limited to Profane Prayers and Doubtless One.

What I'm hoping for here is some advice on possibly streamlining my win conditions as well as any obvious improvements that can be made to my efficacy at reducing incoming damage. I do have more Battletide Alchemist on order since I really like them.

needs more cleric tribal - I'd ditch the backup Orzhov subtheme ( Basilica Screecher , Crypt Ghast , Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts , & Tithe Taker ) and probably the Regal Bloodlord for some cleric support: Akroma's Devoted , Battlefield Medic , Battletide Alchemist , and Daru Spiritualist come to mind for that. Edgewalker is a must for the colors, and I'd probably ditch the monuments and obilisk of urd for more clerics - Alms Collector and Bygone Bishop give decent card draw, Eight-and-a-Half-Tails , Giver of Runes and Mother of Runes offer amazing protection for your field. Frontline Medic and Selfless Spirit offer indistrucbablity for your own wipes. Sin Collector offers good andi-countermagic / tide-turner removal. High Priest of Penance is just amazing with the recusion this deck should have. Rotlung Reanimator turns all clerics into double duty sac fodder, and Priest of Forgotten Gods , Yawgmoth, Thran Physician , and Whisper, Blood Liturgist are more than happy to supply that role, with Skirsdag High Priest backing them up. and Weathered Wayfarer pulls the same job as Land Tax , but can fetch non-basics, and is a cleric.

I always enjoy seeing more people make cleric decks, as I have made my own I defiantly have some opinions and ideas on clerics. Mother of Runes , Devoted Caretaker , Benevolent Bodyguard and Battletide Alchemist are excellent defensive options. For cleric beaters I would look at Custodi Soulbinders and Doubtless One . For card draw look at Tymna the Weaver , Twilight Prophet , Custodi Lich and Bygone Bishop . Given your commanders life drain nature I would also look at adding Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless as blowouts and enablers for your commander.
