Oh man, speaking of Sidisi, Undead Vizier & Razaketh, the Foulblooded - Diabolic Intent is another no-brainer here.

Blood Pet & Basal Thrull are also greats recs, y'all! Those Eldrazi Token generators reminded me to mention Sifter of Skulls as well.

Not sure how I forgot to mention this in my 1st post, but Proliferate bangs here. Consider Plaguemaw Beast, Unnatural Restoration, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Karn's Bastion, Contagion Clasp, Contagion Engine & Evolution Sage.

Also, a word of warning: there is no way to keep Meren of Clan Nel Toth ultra-casual. Her nature as a Reanimator steers her to higher power levels than casual pods aim for. You'll see what I mean as you continue to refine your decklist!

Plaguemaw Beast would be another steady source for proliferating.

Hey there! Mushroom time is party time with these fun guys.

Okay to make up for the horrible pun I'm going to give some suggestions. You have a lot of spore counter buildup here, and these need cultivating time to reap the rewards. I'd recommend more Proliferate to accelerate how many spore counters you can get. You currently have three accelerants, Winding Constrictor, Karn's Bastion and Sporesower Thallid in the deck. How about Grim Affliction, Spread the Sickness, Plaguemaw Beast, Smell Fear, Evolution Sage, and Throne of Geth?

What is Tainted Strike in the deck for at the moment? It doesn't look like you capitalize on wither or poison counters with this deck, so I wouldn't route the deck down that road.

The Elvish Farmer is a nice spore counter addition, but card cost is high for something you can live without.

Would having a Barter in Blood interest you? I've noticed you don't have as many Black cards in the deck, and it'd be useful for more sac opportunities that also hurt your opponent.

I am all for budget decks and think this looks very promising without breaking the bank. Good job and happy harvesting.

This looks like it could definitely be scary once it gets going. Very dedicated to its theme.

From a general construction sense, it could probably use a few less lands, a bit more ramp and card draw, and a few less cards on the top end (the mana curve leans high).

Some good mana staples that would help and fit the theme: Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Commander's Sphere, Fellwar Stone, Everflowing Chalice, Astral Cornucopia, Solemn Simulacrum, Fertilid, Gyre Sage, Rishkar, Peema Renegade, Incubation Druid, Rampant Growth

Since your goal is to get poison counters on ASAP (so that proliferate matters), stuff like Ichor Rats and Plague Stinger would be good additions. Grafted Exoskeleton and Phyresis can make it so some of your other creatures can contribute to the poison damage count. Viridian Corrupter and Relic Putrescence both give you a way to give poison counters while also serving as artifact removal of a sort.

For cards to potentially remove, there are a few that fit the theme, but may be harder to get the benefit from. Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Second Chance don't do too much for you. Door of Destinies doesn't really have a good tribe to name.

There is a sort of sacrifice sub-theme going on that doesn't feel like it fully pans out. The Arcbound creatures are on the expensive side and you don't have a ton of artifact creatures to move the counters onto. Plus, if they hit for regular damage, they're not going to contribute to your infect plan. Throne of Geth and Plaguemaw Beast give repeatable proliferate, but you don't have a ton of things that you want to sacrifice, or ways to get things back from the graveyard to recur them. Martyr for the Cause and Roalesk, Apex Hybrid are only really good if you get exactly Plaguemaw Beast.

Mortlocke on New hubs to be added

Hello legendofa,

I propose a new hub to be added: Phyrexian. During Modern Horizons 2, 225 creatures were retconned into having the Phyrexian creature subtype to join Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider . Additionally, there were a smattering of Enchantments, Artifacts and etc that ether have the Phyrexian subtype or create creature tokens that do. Thanks to this retcon I now have a deck that has a Phyrexian tribal theme. For your reference, below is a full list of spells that were affected by WotC's Phyrexian errata.

Well since you are doing thallids with spore counters I would recommend leaning into Proliferate. Cards like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Evolution Sage, and Plaguemaw Beast can help you continue to proliferate all your spore counters or wahtever other counters you have every turn.

You might even consider adding Umezawa's Jitte.

Sac outlets that can benefit you are always good. Greater Good

Ways to beef up your saps. Muraganda Petroglyphs, Triumph of the Hordes

Ways to double up on the lifeloss from all the dying saps. Wound Reflection, Archfiend of Despair

Am I heading in the right direction here? Let me know if you like those suggestions.
