29 lands is not gonna work. You'll need 34 lands at the least. Cut Blightbelly Rat, Carrion Rats, Gnat Miser, Gnawing Vermin, Phyrexian Battleflies, Rancid Rats, Ravenous Rats, Razortooth Rats, Scrib Nibblers, Vampire Bats, and Wave of Rats. Tomorrow we will discuss cards to add. But in the meantime add 5 to 7 lands.

Gleeock: I don't care much either way, but it should be noted that oldrexia also did assimilation; I remember an article where Phyrexian Battleflies where said to infect people with the glistening oil. Meanwhile, newrexia also got some willing traitors, like Geth, Lord of the Vault

And on the topic of an anti-artifact faction: the "Third path" was that in the lore during the War, and since Hurkyl of Hurkyl's Recall is already confirmed, you might just get what you want there at least

Mortlocke on New hubs to be added

Hello legendofa,

I propose a new hub to be added: Phyrexian. During Modern Horizons 2, 225 creatures were retconned into having the Phyrexian creature subtype to join Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider . Additionally, there were a smattering of Enchantments, Artifacts and etc that ether have the Phyrexian subtype or create creature tokens that do. Thanks to this retcon I now have a deck that has a Phyrexian tribal theme. For your reference, below is a full list of spells that were affected by WotC's Phyrexian errata.

legendofa on Why Does "Phyrexian" Need to …

Caerwyn If I'm getting your response to me right, Phyrexians should have that creature type because they were (in-story) specifically made to be Phyrexians. Phyrexians should be a creature type to reflect their unique biological and ideological modifications.

If that's right, it seems like the Phyrexian typing is designed primarily to integrate the story into the mechanics. The Phyrexian creature type is as much about worldview as biology, not fitting neatly into a "class" or "race" subtype. Which would be more correct for Glistener Elf, Elf Phyrexian Warrior or just Phyrexian Warrior? For Blighted Agent, Human Phyrexian Rogue or Phyrexian Rogue? Phyrexian Battleflies as Insect or Phyrexian Insect?

I would love to see Phyrexian added to the typeline of Phyrexian Snowcrusher.

This isn't going to change any minds at WotC, so back into hypotheticals, but would something like Cyborg or Augmented (maybe less sci-fi-ish) have been more acceptable?
