Pain Distributor - decent ramp, deals significant damage if your opponents use the treasures. Emergency blocker

Path of the Pyromancer - decent card selection

Urabrask's Forge - not an instant/sorcery but a strong repeatable source of damage

Vindictive Flamestoker - slow, but could draw you cards.

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus - mega power increase. 'Nuff said

Auntie Blyte, Bad Influence - could be good if you have a lot of symmetrical effects

Visions of Phyrexia - you can't utilize the Powerstone too well, but it's a free card each turn like Outpost Siege

Urabrask, Heretic Praetor - more impulse draw with a bit of a penalty to your opponent. Not as good of a blocker as the other Urabrasks with no first strike

Mishra's Command - modal, damage and card selection

Mechanized Warfare - not as good as all your other options for Torbran redundancy/damage enhancement

Brotherhood's End - modality is nice

The Red Terror - strong synergy with all the damage you're throwing around

Let the Galaxy Burn - an option for a board-wipe.

Khârn the Betrayer - chaotic, draws cards potentially

Jaya, Fiery Negotiator - strong synergy, has the misfortune of being a planeswalker. RIP

Max_Hammer, I am definitely putting Crackle with Power in my Gisela deck.

legendofa, I think that Brotherhood's End is the best card out of that group, mainly for its versatility.

I think the board wipes that hit early at a low cost are best here. Also board wipes that make the creatures deal damage to them selves. Since Gisela, Blade of Goldnight splits it in half on your stuff, it will not kill your creatures, additionally it doubles the damage your opponents creatures would deal to them selves.

Some of the board wipes I recommend are

When paired with your cmdr

Other good ones when paired with your cmdr

Moving on to other good wipes, and noncreature wipes, and choice wipes.

Allright, so here's the "how the fk does it work?" part.

The deck is a prett slow one that takes some time before it really activates, so several cards both in the main deck and side board are there to mitigate the pressure that we might suffer from early plays. Lightning Bolt, Fire / Ice and Arboreal Grazer fills these slots in the main deck.

What the deck wants to do is generally to discard lands with Seismic Assault to deal damage to the enemy, then use cards such as Wrenn and Six, Life from the Loam and Slogurk, the Overslime to recur those lands to your hand again.

Trade Routes is used for 3 reasons. The first is pretty straight forwards, use your land cards in hand to generate new cards. Second use is to be able to play your channel lands early in the game to give mana while being able to pick them up later in the game to use their channel effect. And the third one is to make Slogurk, the Overslime to grow rapidly. If you discard a land and opt to dredge a Life from the Loam, Slogurk, the Overslime can grow anywhere between +1 to +4 +1/+1 counters for a single mana, ontop of digging for utility lands that you can return later.

Sadly I have not had a lot of time playtesting it, and I think that the sideboard needs a lot of work. First and foremost I feel like I have doubled down a bit too hard on artifact hate, albeit with a lot of cards with multi purpose.

Anyways, the rundown of why I included the cards are as follows: Damping Sphere was included to stop decks such as tron and titan, and it also works well versus decks such as breach or storm or other more jank combos such as neobrand.

Pithing Needle and Relic of Progenitus dont need explaining.

Brotherhood's End was included to deal with asmo decks, affinity, prison tron, goblins, merfolk and other similar decks to these.

Force of Vigor is in the deck solely because I have no way to stop a turn 2 kill from hammer, other than blocking with an Arboreal Grazer. I am strongly considering cutting it though.

Haywire Mite is included to stop Kaldra Compleat, but will probably see play in the same games that my other artifact and enchantment hate cards.

Otawara, Soaring City is just so that you are more likely to draw them, especially in matchups where they run pithing needle to stop Boseiju, Who Endures, but is also really good for returning combo pieces to hand, or just big beaters like murktide. Its also really good vs tokens.

Boseiju, Who Endures just a really solid card, deals with most problems the deck faces, such as graveyard hate and blood moon effects.

Bojuka Bog is a fantastic card in this deck. With this card and Trade Routes you can exile your opponents graveyard every turn if you'd like, although it is only in sorcery speed.

Cards that I would like to experiment with: Expressive Iteration is a card that I am gonna experiment with in place of Fire / Ice. I think that Fire / Ice is much better at stalling out the game, but expressive is such a valuable card to have in the mid game.

Academy Ruins and Buried Ruin to be able to get artifacts back from the graveyard.

Shadowspear to deal with agressive matchups where the opponent have no good way of dealing with my constructs or Slogurk, the Overslime.

Orvar, the All-Form versus decks that enjoy discarding your hand, so generally versus decks that runs archong or liliana.

I hope you enjoyed the read, give me some thoughts in the comments if you have any =)

jarncards on hasteland

For global haste you can use Fires of Yavimaya, Concordant Crossroads, Mass Hysteria, and Urabrask the Hidden who will also conveniently turn off other people's haste. Anger and Barbarian Class also give haste after more effort.

Ant Queen, Artifact Mutation, Battle Hymn, Circle of Dreams Druid, Dragon Broodmother, Pest Infestation, Scute Swarm, Tempt with Vengeance, Sylvan Offering, Termagant Swarm are all useful if you can give haste to all of them.

Birds of Paradise is just the best mana dork.

You have green, so you might as well use the standard ramp package with Cultivate , Kodama's Reach, Explore , Farseek, , Rampant Growth, Three Visits and Nature's Lore. Probably ignore most mana rocks, because people are going to want to vandalblast you just because of the treasures.

Relentless Assault, Scourge of the Throne, Combat Celebrant, Hexplate Wallbreaker, World at War grant extra combats, with Hellkite Charger and Aggravated Assault potentially going infinite.

Vandalblast goes in every red deck. Even though youll have a ton of treasures i'd still run Brotherhood's End too

For draw spells consider Scroll Rack, Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, Soul's Majesty, Furious Rise, Rishkar's Expertise, Beast Whisperer, Shamanic Revelation, Disciple of Bolas, Pact of the Serpent, Painful Truths, Harmonize, Sign in Blood, Night's Whisper, Read the Bones, Ambition's Cost, Ancient Craving, Damnable Pact, Commune with Lava, Lifeblood Hydra, or maybe Necropotence although the color restricion on necro is tough, treasures should take care of it.

Fable of the Mirror-Breaker  Flip, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer , The Reaver Cleaver , Gadrak, the Crown-Scourge , Ancient Copper Dragon , Old Gnawbone Ziatora, the Incinerator for more treasure makers. Pyrohemia and Pestilence could be fun with the extra mana. Awaken the Woods is an amazing x spell too, but wont appreciate the two aforementioned cards.

If you're using magda the deck will benefit from dragons and expensive artifacts. throw in Imperial Recruiter and Worldly Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Demonic Tutor all go in your colors. so you can get her more consistently. Darksteel Forge and Gate to Phyrexia can be tutored into play with her for five treasure.

If you use dragons, you could add Dragonstorm, but you should carefully consider how many cheap spells you expect to be able to cast if you arent building specifically towards this card. Chatterstorm, Empty the Warrens, Yawgmoth's Will, Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, and Manamorphose, Past in Flames are all good on their own and would add synergy.

If it ends up dragon tribal, cards like Crippling Fear , Kindred Dominance, Crux of Fate

Swashbuckler Extraordinaire is a very good payoff for using treasures if you dont use certain other nightmarish dragons like Atarka, World Render, Blast-Furnace Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, Thrakkus the Butcher

zapyourtumor on Dragons,Speed, and Control

First off, if you are going for a more midrange-control type deck where you control the board before slamming down big haymakers, cards like Dragonlord's Servant and other ramp spells that aim to turbo out dragons faster don't actually fit well with the deck. I would cut all 3 copies and replace with more interaction.

Moonveil Regent is a dragon I really like, since it generates a ton of card advantage once you're in top decking mode (which most midrange decks aim to get to). Could maybe slot in 2.

You could potentially cut a land and go down to 22, if you need to. I also think that you should run fetches if you can afford them, along with a few utility lands.

Draconic Roar is cute and fits with the dragon theme, unfortunately it is strictly worse than Lightning Bolt in 99% of situations. I would go 4 Bolts.

I would also diversify your removal suite a bit. Unless artifacts are a huge problem in your meta, you could trim 1 K-Command and 1 Bloodchief's Thirst for 2 Terminates which is a good catch-all answer for bigger creatures (ahem murktide).

Inquisition of Kozilek if you need more discard spells.

For the sideboard, Hidetsugu Consumes All  Flip is a really strong card against a lot of decks, completely blowing out hammer and rhinos while also being strong against murktide, burn, random urza's saga decks, and even the occasional bogles deck.

Blood Moon is always an option in these kinds of decks, maindeck or sideboard.

Brotherhood's End is another sideboard boardwipe against artifact decks and aggro decks, much faster than Crux of Fate since you can sometimes lose before getting to 5 lands.
