Jaya, Fiery Negotiator

Legendary Planeswalker — Jaya

+1: Create a 1/1 red Monk creature token with prowess. (Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1.)

-1: Exile the top two cards of your library. Choose one of them. You may play that card this turn.

-2: Choose target creature an opponent controls. Whenever you attack this turn, Jaya, Fiery Negotiator deals damage equal to the number of attacking creatures to that creature.

-8: You get an emblem with "Whenever you cast a red instant or sorcery spell, copy it twice. You may choose new targets for the copies."

Stormcatch Mentor is like, good, but you're not really getting a ton of use out of it. I mean you have 12 spells it reduces the cost on. 3 of those already have a cost reduction, situationally removing generic mana from their costs (Light Up the Stage). Those same 3 are the only spells costing more than one generic mana also because Pearl of Wisdom already costs 1 less with Stormcatch Mentor in play because otter.

I haven't played pioneer so take what I say with a grain of salt, especially since I also don't know what good budget options in the format are, but I would say you could probably do with 1 less Stormcatch Mentor since having multiple in play at once doesn't really do anything at all for the deck. Alternatively, throw in a spell that stretches your mana curve a bit and has big impact on the game. Jaya, Fiery Negotiator is already more midrange-esque as a 4 drop, so maybe a 5 cost instant or something like that could fit well. It shouldn't disrupt the deck's flow too much since you can usually cast it reduced for 4, sometimes even 3 mana. Again, I'm not sure what that would be. A big burn or card draw spell comes to mind but I don't know what's in pioneer I really just play pauper lol. Something along the lines of Thunderous Wrath or Lorien Revealed (I know these aren't legal) come to mind as fitting well if this were pauper.

Pain Distributor - decent ramp, deals significant damage if your opponents use the treasures. Emergency blocker

Path of the Pyromancer - decent card selection

Urabrask's Forge - not an instant/sorcery but a strong repeatable source of damage

Vindictive Flamestoker - slow, but could draw you cards.

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus - mega power increase. 'Nuff said

Auntie Blyte, Bad Influence - could be good if you have a lot of symmetrical effects

Visions of Phyrexia - you can't utilize the Powerstone too well, but it's a free card each turn like Outpost Siege

Urabrask, Heretic Praetor - more impulse draw with a bit of a penalty to your opponent. Not as good of a blocker as the other Urabrasks with no first strike

Mishra's Command - modal, damage and card selection

Mechanized Warfare - not as good as all your other options for Torbran redundancy/damage enhancement

Brotherhood's End - modality is nice

The Red Terror - strong synergy with all the damage you're throwing around

Let the Galaxy Burn - an option for a board-wipe.

Khârn the Betrayer - chaotic, draws cards potentially

Jaya, Fiery Negotiator - strong synergy, has the misfortune of being a planeswalker. RIP

Had another lgs store championship with this deck (4th out of 11) got the Gilded Goose

made a little sideboard with some among some other cards Ironhoof Boar and a Jaya, Fiery Negotiator the jaya is not that expensive and in a longer game could get a small advantage with its -1 and -2 ability, didnt use the -2. but the -1 allows you to see some cards
