This deck started from the idea of using Maskwood Nexus to make all creatures trigger Magda, Brazen Outlaw effect since there are not enough good dwarfs in red to make a good Dwarf Tribal deck.

After play testing the deck evolved to what I have here: a combo centered deck focused on using Magda, Brazen Outlaw's activated ability to bring out the pieces to one of several combos within 2-4 activations to win the game.

Treasure Hunting Show

The fuel that the Magda, Brazen Outlaw engine runs on is treasure, so being able to make lots of treasure is of the utmost importance. Therefore, a large part of the deck is focused on being able to quickly and reliably make treasure. Ideally we would generate enough treasure to win between turns 4 and 7. The cards below are the keys to achieving this.

Free Instant Creature Tapping

Tapping Dwarves is the fundamental way the deck makes treasures so having ways to tap them for free whenever you want/need is important, especially later when attacking might not be safe.

1. Kyren Negotiations: a great enchantment that not only allows you to tap your creatures at instant speed but ping your enemies for 1 at the same time.
2. Clown Car: Vehicles are great in this deck since they are free infinite instant tap outlets that are searchable by Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Clown Car is good in particular because you can play it for 0 mana. If Maskwood Nexus is on the field you can put mana in to maybe generate tokens you can tap for treasure.
3. Smuggler's Copter: A great, cheap to cast, cheap to crew, flying vehicle with optional looting. I am always happy when I see this in my opening hand.
4. Dwarven Bloodboiler: Free instant speed creature tapping that when tapped itself creates treasure with Magda, Brazen Outlaw on board. Searchable by Dwarven Recruiter and Imperial Recruiter.

Doubling your Fun

If one is good then two is better. A truism this deck takes to heart and puts to good use with the below cards.

1. Helm of the Host: At the start of every combat phase make another Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Usually win the game if you get two combat phases with this attached to Magda. This is almost always the first thing I get when I activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw.
2. Lithoform Engine: Need to double a triggered or activated ability, a instant or sorcery spell, or even a permanent? This is the card you want. The two main reasons I get Helm of the Host over this is that Helm allows me to make copies of Magda, Brazen Outlaw and does it for free. Other than that this card is excellent in the deck as it allows you to double Magda's activated ability.
3. Illusionist's Bracers: Doubles Magda, Brazen Outlaw activations for no extra cost. Great to get to see early since it is cheap to cast and halves your time to win when attached to Magda.

Infinite Treasure

Clock of Omens Show

Magda, Brazen Outlaw + Clock of Omens + an artifact creature changeling/shapeshifter like Metallic Mimic, Universal Automaton, or Bloodline Pretender is infinite treasure token generation. If Maskwood Nexus is on the field than any artifact creature can be used since Maskwood Nexus makes them a changeling. An example loop is below.

How the Combo Works Show

1. With Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Clock of Omens on the battlefield, cast Metallic Mimic and choose Dwarf as creature type.
2. Activate Clock of Omens tapping itself and Metallic Mimic as the cost to activate, targeting Metallic Mimic to untap.
3. Magda, Brazen Outlaw triggers to create a treasure token.
4. Activate Clock of Omens tapping the newly created treasure token and Metallic Mimic as the cost to activate, targeting Metallic Mimic to untap.
5. Repeat the above step until you have more treasure than Smaug.
6. Sacrifice the treasure to tutor out one of the Combos outlined in the Combo section to win.

Sands of Time Show

A fun card that is only in 215 decks on EDHREC, that is an absolute gem in this deck. It is a unique and surprising infinite combo with Lithoform Engine.

How the Combo Works Show

1. Have Magda, Brazen Outlaw on the field with Lithoform Engine, 5 treasure tokens, and 2 usable mana.
2. At the end step of the player ahead of you activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw by sacrificing the 5 treasure tokens and bring out Sands of Time.
3. At the beginning of your turn Sands of Time will trigger. In response to that trigger tap all of your lands, artifacts, and creatures that can produce mana and/or treasure, then activate Lithoform Engine, copying the Sands of Time trigger
4. Allow the copied Sands of Time to resolve untapping all your tapped lands, artifacts, and creatures.
5. With the original Sand of Time still on the stack, tap all your lands, artifacts, and creatures, then activate Lithoform Engine, copying the Sands of Time trigger.
6. Repeat the above step until you have enough treasure to use on of the combos outlined later in the guide to win the game. To break the loop, do not copy the original Sands of Time trigger with Lithoform Engine.

Combos Show

Infinite ETB Damage Show

Terror of the Peaks is a real terror in this deck, being the center piece of several possible infinite ETB Damage combos.

one such combo uses Maskwood Nexus, Summoning Station, an infinite creature tapper, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw in addition. This combo generally requires activating Magda, Brazen Outlaw several times to get out all the pieces, so is very dependent on your ability to generate treasures. In game play the pieces to the combo are almost always assembled over several turns.

How the Combo Works

1. Have Magda, Brazen Outlaw and a least 20 treasures on the board. 5 treasures less for each non-Magda combo piece already on the board
2. Activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw, sacrifice 5 treasures, and bring out Maskwood Nexus. Skip if Maskwood Nexus is already on the board.
3. Activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw, sacrifice 5 treasures, and bring out Clown Car or other infinite creature tapper. Skip if Clown Car or other infinite creature tapper is already on the board.
4. Activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw, sacrifice 5 treasures, and bring out Summoning Station. Skip if Summoning Station is already on the board.
5. Activate Magda, Brazen Outlaw, sacrifice 5 treasures, and bring out Terror of the Peaks. Skip if Terror of the Peaks is already on the board.
6. Tap the Summoning Station to create a Pincher creature token.
7. Terror of the Peaks triggers. Deal 3 damage to any target.
8. Tap the Pincher token to crew Clown Car to create a treasure.
9. Sacrifice the treasure for mana.
10. Untap Summoning Station since an artifact was sent to the graveyard.
11. Repeat steps 6-10 as needed to win the game.

Infinite Combat Show

There are two ways to get infinite Combat steps in this deck, Hellkite Charger and Aggravated Assault, each with their own pros and cons. However, if you can get either on the board with a little setup and the game is yours.

Hellkite Charger

Pros of Hellkite Charger:

1. Searchable with Magda, Brazen Outlaw's ability.

Cons of Hellkite Charger:

1. Have to attack with it to trigger.
2. Only untaps attacking creatures.
3. Vulnerable to removal as a creature.
4. High cost to pay for ability
5. High cost to pay to cast if you draw it.

Aggravated Assault

Pros of Aggravated Assault:

1. Low Cost to Cast
2. Cheaper to activate than Hellkite Charger
3. Less vulnerable to removal as an enchantment
4. Untaps all tapped creatures. Not just attacking creatures.

Cons of Aggravated Assault:

1. Not searchable with Magda, Brazen Outlaw's ability

How the Combo Works

This combo is the most flexible of the infinite combos in the deck so there isn't an exact list of steps you need to follow just a general list of criteria you need to meet. What you need on the board:

1. One of the infinite combat cards.
2. A way to repeatedly generate the cost to activate the card above.
3. A creature to deal the damage.

This list will often result with a board state with Magda, Brazen Outlaw on the board with Helm of the Host attached. Maskwood Nexus and 3 to 4 other creatures also on board when the combat loops start. Each combat phase creates another Magda, Brazen Outlaw which means more treasure is generated each time you tap a creature. Which will most likely allow you to get out one of the other combos if you don't win with combat damage first.

Infinite Ping Show

This combo revolves around Kyren Negotiations and its ability to tap a creature and deal 1 damage to target player. Since Kyren Negotiations is not searchable by Magda, Brazen Outlaw the combo is harder to assemble and therefore less reliable than the other listed here.

How the Combo Works

The combo relays on combining Kyren Negotiations,Maskwood Nexus,Summoning Station, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw and works like this.

1. Tap Summoning Station to create a Pincher creature token.
2. Maskwood Nexus makes it a changeling and thus a dwarf.
3. Use Kyren Negotiations to tap the Pincher. Dealing 1 damage to target player and creating a treasure token.
4. Sacrifice the treasure token for mana and untap Summoning Station.
5. Reapt steps 1-4 until you win.

The Maybe Board is full of different options you could swap into the deck to change the way it plays. If you are not a fan of the combos this deck is focused around just swap out those pieces for what you like from the maybe board. There are pieces to lots of different play styles in there.
