Golgari was my first favourite colour in magic. Deathtouch was my first favourite mechanic. I still remember the day I created my first death touch/first strike creature. This is cool!

And then I found Glissa.

Glissa "Lures" them or pings opponent's creatures with Thornbite Staff to their deaths, where they experience a Grave Betrayal, or fall into a Mimic Vat, or Lim-Dul the Necromancer brings their souls over to the dark side. Stealing creatures, black style!

Glissa brings artifacts back, so I've suited her up with some good ones like Shadowspear and Inquisitor's Flail. First strike deathtouch makes trample so effective, and Grave Betrayal uses deterrence as a form of trample. Go ahead and block me, I steal your creatures.

Umbras and the usual hexproof suspects protect Glissa from too much harm, but she's so cheap, if you kill her, she's right back at ya with the next Aura or re-attached artifact.

The deck is a little slow, turn 6-7 kill. I'm sometimes tempted to slow it down with interesting Golgari creatures like Creakwood Liege or Lathril, Blade of the Elves.

Black and Green are so into Birth and Death. In this deck, mostly death.

Mostly your death.
