Maybeboard

Enduring Renewal is my all time favourite card, it opened up new territory and broke the game. It has been banned and unbanned, printed only twice, the last time in 2006 and left no impression on the game. This card invented combo and I have played and brewed with it since Ice Age. Enduring Renewal is almost as old as Magic itself. One of its most famous appearances was in Tony Dobson's, 1999 Extended pro deck dubbed "Cocoa Pebbles". This is a homage to that deck and includes many of the same cards.

It's a basic Mardu competitive chassis with a win-con requiring you to find or dig for Enduring Renewal and Goblin Bombardment or Blasting Station. With Rograkh in the command zone, you have all you need to go infinite. As far as Ravos, you get the colours you need to make this happen and a late game way around ER. Most of the cards are useful across other decks, and those that aren't are few and not all that expensive, making it a good transferable pile that you may be able to already come close to putting together if Mardu is your thing.

The combo is 6 mana, cheapest is (W)(R)4 - Academy Rector and Goblin Bombardment.

Notes for me.

Key combo piece Enduring Renewal, cheat into play with Academy Rector and an altar, sac' Rector for ER and then combo off with Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh.

Back up to ER is Yomiji, Who Bars the Way.

Other combo pieces;

The rest of the deck is mana and interaction. Plenty of cards require creature sac and work nice with Enduring Renewal. Much of the interaction benefits from your commander being out, so you may have to drop Rograkh early, this can make Blasting Station not play as nice with Academy Rector if that is your line, Rograkh needs to be in hand to untap Blasting Station.

Asthetic

I have used Ice Age cards if there is a print available and there are a surprising number, not bad for a 30 year old set. The rest of the deck is OG foils or signed, alternate prints and some alters. I went with cards I like the look of, so no heavy theme.
