Glissa's Necronomicon
My first commander deck, still quite powerful and fun!
So please help :d!
Main idea: discard high cmc creatures and then reanimate them, while getting bonuses from it and from creatures dying.
2)Birthing Pod + Coffin Queen + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed Can use opponents dead creatures to get mine from the deck without Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , and with him can tutor for creatures without losing my creatures and even making them stronger.
Combine it with Harvester of Souls or Grim Haruspex and I get to draw, hell add Grave Pact to the mix and opponents sacrifice creatures and I draw more cards.
3)Animate Dead + Demonic Collusion + Sheoldred, Whispering One Discard a high CMC creatures, tut for reanimation spell and reanimate the creature while keeping the Demonic Collusion for second use, sweet. 4)Harvester of Souls + Sheoldred, Whispering One + Soul of the Harvest or Harvester of Souls + Visara the Dreadful or = draw and draw :)
5)Harvester of Souls + Merciless Executioner + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed kill 2 creatures + Draw cards 3 cards + get Shriekmaw on board with 4/3 = sweet.
6) Prototype Portal works great in artifact deck, will be great with any artifact :) a must have. For example Duplicant will allow each turn to exile enemy creature.
7)Merciless Executioner + Meren of Clan Nel Toth - not hard to get 3 exp counters, so can get him back to the battlefield each turn as long as Meren lives.
8)Oracle of Mul Daya + Sensei's Divining Top - Filter lands to play 2 out of the deck.
9)Massacre Wurm + Sudden Spoiling - or using Herald of Anguish .

Demonic Collusion - Discard high CMC creatures while tutoring for reanimation spell + get the tutoring back for second use.
Razaketh, the Foulblooded - As long as I have life and a creature to sacrifice I can tut for cards.
Sidisi, Undead Vizier - Love this card, powerful creature and his Explite can work well with reanimation or triger other effects like of Grave Pact .
Rune-Scarred Demon - Fine flying creature that tutors :P
Expedition Map - Can tutorl for all the non basic lands cards and reuse it thanks to Glissa.
Sort of Tutoring:
Fauna Shaman - Double usage, tutor for needed creature plus put in to the grave creatures that I can reanimate.
Birthing Pod - Tutor for creatures, plus work well with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed or Grave Pact .
Reanimate
- Can bring back even other player's creatures.
Victimize
- Can reanimate two creatures plus the sacrifice can activate some abilities of other cards.
Living Death
- Board wipe + mas reanimation, and I have card that will make sure I have the upper hand when the dead comes back to life.
Dance of the Dead
- Although you need to pay for untapping can use for creature that have effect just from being on board, and I have quite many of those.
Animate Dead
- Good reanimation with small downside -1/-0 not a big deal.
Rescue from the Underworld
- Potentially a rescue card of a creature that is a target of an ability + reanimation, but main usage will be to deal with some sort of an enchantment that prevents the creature from attacking or something like this.
Deadbridge Chant
- Puts creatures in to the graveyard and reanimate them, works well with
Living Death
and can bring other cards from graveyard, hell yeah!
Necromancy
- Great reanimation spell that can even work as a instant.
Liliana, Death's Majesty
- Her +1 and -3 just fit so well in my deck.
Sheoldred, Whispering One
- Resurrection + removal one of my fav creatures for EDH.
Meren of Clan Nel Toth
- Potentially can replace Glissa, good card nothing to add.
Coffin Queen
- 1/1 makes her little hard to keep but add
Darksteel Plate
and not a problem, she reanimate from any graveyard, good with
Birthing Pod
. And I really like the art :)
Darksteel Plate - Can save my weak creatures or make sure the key creature is hard to remove.
Asceticism - Makes my creatures untargetable and regenerate them.
Grave Pact - When my creatures dying enemy will lose something too.
No Mercy - Great for dealing with tokens and massive amount of small creatures or blocking the big one.
Dread - Basically No Mercy that can move and bite.
Herald of Anguish - Discard is always nice.
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed - Protection vs Humans.
Platinum Emperion - My life amount can't be changed. Still will lose to commander damage rule but protects in all other cases.
Acidic Slime - Artifact, Enchantment or Land. And it has Deathtouch.
Sylvok Replica - Artifact, Enchantment and can be brought back with Glissa.
Terastodon - Non Creature permanent.
Beast Within - Any Permanent.
Nevinyrral's Disk - Artifact, Creatures, Enchantments. And can re use with Glissa.
Pernicious Deed - Artifact, Creatures, Enchantments.
Ratchet Bomb - Creatures, for 0 will remove all tokens, and immediately return to my hand if Glissa on the board.
Executioner's Capsule - Creatures, and immediately return to my hand if Glissa on the board.
Garruk, Apex Predator - Planeswalker for +1, Creature for -3 + Heal.
Liliana, Death's Majesty - Creatures non-Zombie for -7.
Vraska the Unseen - Non Creature permanent for -3.
Foul Renewal - Can deal with indestructible creatures and return a creature card to my hand.
Archfiend of Depravity - Creatures, making sure opponent won't have a swarm or creatures.
Dread - Creatures, if they damage me they are gone.
Duplicant - Creatures, can exile any non token creature. And as it is an artifact can come back with Glissa.
Herald of Anguish - Creatures, his paid ability can remove small creatures. While sacrificing an artifact isn't a big deal as if Glissa is on the field it will return to my hand when the creature is dead.
Massacre Wurm - Creatures, remove mass of small creatures, and deal damage whenever opponent lose a creature.
Merciless Executioner - Creature, can sometimes deal with indestructible creatures too.
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed - Creatures, humans that attack me.
Sheoldred, Whispering One - Creatures, makes the enemy sacrifice a creature each turn.
Visara the Dreadful - Creatures, Tap To Kill.
Damnation - Mass Creature Removal.
Living Death - Mass Creature Removal, and reanimate.
Fauna Shaman - Discard a high CMC creature and get some creature back like Coffin Queen for example.
Lotleth Troll - Discard a high CMC creature to biff him up and reanimate it later.
Buried Alive - Search for 3 creatures to reanimate later on.
Demonic Collusion - Discard high CMC creatures while tutoring for reanimation spell + get the tutoring back for second use.
Jarad's Orders - Tutoring for a high CMC creature and something else, for example Coffin Queen + Sheoldred, Whispering One .
Deadbridge Chant - Puts 10 cards to the graveyard and then can reanimate creatures or return other card to my hand.
Liliana, Death's Majesty - Her +1 puts a card to the graveyard.
Notes:
1)Although I don't have many green cards, the double green mana cost on Glissa requires more green sources. So I have put in more green mana sources then the cards needed on the chart.
2)There is no limit on the lands I know there are many other better alternatives but they do cost more. Like
Cabal Coffers

3)This is not an easy deck to play, but it has many answers for different situations, thats what makes it harder to use, you need to know what you should do next and do it right, like tut for the right card etc..
I like it a lot, it is really fun to play.
4)I play mainly with my friends and they have small amount of gravehate cards, if you are playing more competitive, I would suggest to put in some grave protection cards.
