My first thought when I saw Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves was that he would be an amazing commander when combined with Feed the Pack and Wren's Run Packmaster. My dream for this deck would be to have those two cards on the field and then sac some ridiculously huge creature to Feed the Pack (something like a Ghalta, Primal Hunger or a Mossbridge Troll). I built the deck with this in mind.

What this deck wants to do

WinCons

Obviously, a deck wants to win. The primary wincon for this deck is to get Tolsimri on the field and play a bunch of wolves to gain life, then hit Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance. You could probably throw in an Aetherflux Reservoir too if you wanted.

Alternatively, you can use the fight triggers and Wren's Run Packmaster to keep killing your opponent's creatures. If you do this well enough, you can just win by straight combat damage.

Notable synergies

This entire deck is built around Tolsimir's ETB trigger for wolves. I want to hit that trigger as much as possible, and I want to utilize it in the most disgusting of ways. The lifegain is pretty obvious. Play a bunch of wolves and gain life. The fight trigger though, that's really useful.

Feed the Pack is the most obvious synergy for both the lifegain and the fight trigger. Most of the cards I included combo well with that, such as the token doublers. But there are a lot of really fun ways to use Tolsimir.

Here are is what I came up with (some of these aren't in the deck, but are worth noting):

Final Thoughts

Now that I've played this deck, I can say that it really does a good job. The fight trigger controls the board amazingly and the life gain is insane. As a casual deck, this one is really good. I regularly find myself with the strongest board state and the highest life total, and people struggle to deal with the sheer number of enchantments that I've put into the deck (that's likely just due to my meta, but even so they are hard to remove and there are a lot of them). The deck needs a ton of ramp, because Tolsimir quickly becomes a target. Luckily, every time he comes back you get another wolf and gain life.

Some of the additional cards I would really like to add into this deck are:

For a more competitive deck, I'd probably swap in some of the following (though creature removal hasn't been something I really need):
