Changeling (This card is every creature type.)

Hello, fellow cat and dog enjoyer. I noticed that you pretty much stuffed every cat or dog in naya colors in that you could find but not a single changeling. While changelings might not be satisfying since they don't look like a cat or a dog, they provide great value because they actually trigger Rin & Seris ability twice generating two tokens instead of just one. They also benefit from both lord effects. Notable examples of changelings are:

Additionally, you seem to have missed (or purposfully no included?) some rather powerful cats and dogs:

Just a few for you to consider. I have a list of all good (in my opinion) cats and dogs in my Rin & Seri list: Rin and Seri

Now, let's be real: Its not the best tribal. So I wouldn't force cat and dogs as hard as you do and also supplement with normal creatures like Mondrak, Glory Dominus or Bloom Tender .

You also do not seem to have a lot of draw options in your deck. Depending on the pod you are playing in, board wipes might be present and can absolutely wreck your game plan. Draw effects help you recover from this. Sadly, Naya is not the best color combination for drawing cards and most of the good draw effects are really expensive. You can see some suggestions for draw effects in my deck list: Rin and Seri

I would highly recommend proxying if your pod allows it. Be careful with draw effect like Camaraderie or Shamanic Revelation. They look good on paper in a token theme but they are "win more" cards in my opinion. If your board got wiped and you draw into those cards, they will not do a thing to help you recover. A wheel effect like Wheel of Misfortune however, will draw you 7 fresh cards to start again.

Lastly, I would recommend getting some tutors in there. Eladamri's Call, Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order and the like. The best card in your deck by far is Jetmir, Nexus of Revels. He is basically your secret commander. If you can resolve him with 9 creatures on the board, you can devastate your opponents out of the blue. All the more important to be able to find him if you need him.

That's all for now. Have fun!

Hello, i have some recommendations, specifically with the use of Encore in mind

Dormant Sliver- when encored it becomes a draw Y Times y cards were y is the number of opponents, in a 4 player game thats a four mana draw 9, and then each encore thereafter also draws nine, and sure you need a sac outlet to do combat that turn after you draw but your hand will never be fuller

Leeching Sliver + Thorncaster Sliver both deal great damage on declare attacks, with thorncaster able to clear away specific blockers before they can be declared, if only there were a card to quickly generate a lot of bodies for slivers... oh how about Irregular Cohort? although you will need a haste enabler for the tokens that the etb makes

Moritte of the Frost also lets you copy your 3 best permanents (importantly the legend rule is disabled for slivers you control so keep it in mind in play)

also Ward Sliver getting an encore can give you prot from half the color wheel :)

(cont.2) I also included some "draw enablers" and "mana enablers" so that you can use the changeling loop to draw into and play anything you need, such as a wincon (the cards listed in the first comment), or a counterspell if an opponent tries to disrupt your plans:

draw sources:
Weatherlight Compleated
Elemental Bond
Fecundity
Kavu Lair
Garruk's Uprising
Laid to Rest
Guardian Project
The Great Henge

mana sources:
Earthcraft
Prosperous Partnership (requires looping Irregular Cohort)

counterspells:
Lapse of Certainty
Tibalt's Trickery

Some of the enablers require changelings with certain conditions (e.g. power 4 or greater) to work. Since Pulmonic Sliver's ability is optional, you can ignore it and sac changelings until you hit the right one for the enabler to start working.

Notable tricks:
Land's Edge + Wheel of Sun and Moon + a draw enabler allow you to win without decking yourself. The Wheel functions as a substitute Pulmonic Sliver as well. It also lets you counter all your opponent's spells alongside the changeling loop combo + draw enabler + mana enabler.

If an opponent tries to get rid of Pulmonic Sliver or Atla with targeted removal, you can respond by paying 0 into Mirror Entity's ability to fizzle the removal. This works by turning all your creatures into sliver eggs but also killing them, lifting the target off them and allowing them to re-enter via Pulmonic's + Atla's abilities. This also works against mass removal if you pay 1 into Mirror Entity in response.

Nice dual tribe build.

I know Wolf-Skull Shaman is perfect on theme but with only 8 other elves in deck his ability will seldom help.

As mlequesne has suggested you could add Maskwood Nexus to compensate the lack of elves. Another option are changelings. Especially the following would help a lot I think:

and lesser impact but still good:

Phule451 Coveted Prize seems pretty good party pay off and casting either the Cloak and Dagger or the Obsidian Battle-Axe off the top would be pretty fun. I dislike the Irregular Cohort, but I might add the Mage's Attendant back in just for being half a party in a can, and my current list is waayyy to heavily leaning to clerics. So I'm also considering picking up Resplendent Marshal, Dragonscale General, God-Eternal Oketra, a Disciple of Bolas and I think a Nullpriest of Oblivion is a automatic inclusion for the deck. Ya know outside of obvious generic stuff I will want to pick up like Godless Shrine and Marsh Flats.

I know you’ve been trying to use cards you already have on hand, but there are a few cards you may wanna consider picking up: Coveted Prize can be an all star here. Tribal spells work fantastically in a party deck. Two of my favorites that have served me well in my own Party Time upgrade are Cloak and Dagger and Obsidian Battle-Axe. Irregular Cohort and Mage's Attendant can really help fill your party, and Shields of Velis Vel can turn on not only a full party but any tribal synergies you’ve got going on. Hope at least some of that helps. Party on!

I've made it clear at several points that I am not a big fan of changelings in this deck, my main argument being that while they are angels and benefit from Giada, they don't fly and are thus subpar. Some of this was a reaction to constant suggestions on the forums and online deck techs of subpar changelings like Impostor of the Sixth Pride. As a result many lists were running this card over Angelic Page, Angelic Curator, or Segovian Angel, all of which are strictly better in the context of an angels deck and far more on theme. I also did try and immediately disliked Mirror Entity in my early trials, further souring my mood towards the untribe.

That being said, some helpful pushback and discussion here are leading me to qualify my thoughts that there are some changelings which can be good in this deck and be correct play options, so I wanted to talk about which ones and why.

The first of these and the clear strongest option is Metallic Mimic. The reason for this is because it is a 2 drop "angel" that anthems every other angel you cast by increasing the number of counters that are put on it. This is amazing because unlike a Thraben Watcher whose anthem leaves the battlefield when it is removed, the extra counters will remain unless a board wipe happens. Regardless of whether I end up playing this card or not I think it is probably "correct" to play it in an optimal list.

The second of these cards is Irregular Cohort. Phule451 made a good point that this card is a two-for-one that we can cast turn three consistently. If we cast it then from turn four on we are putting at least three counters on everything, which is pretty great. Two-for-ones are great for goldfishing and provide efficiency, so this does that. There are still some downsides to this card since the angels don't fly and as four cmc is the slot where we need to get more choosy since there is more competition for slots, but I think it is a valid and very playable choice in this deck.

The third card is the weakest but is still playable and that is Universal Automaton. The "sole" reason for this is that it costs solely to cast it, and there is only one other angel we get for that rate. Again, low cmc angels don't have to do as much to justify their slot in this deck- cmc is almost good enough on it's own!

Any of the above cards can be "correct" to play in this deck, so if you want to play them, by all means do! All of that being said, I don't think that I personally will be playing any of these cards for two main reasons. The first of these is pretty much what I said before about the flying piece, but perhaps I should elaborate more. I have a lot of experience playing flyer decks across multiple formats in magic and it's something I have a strong feel for. When I've had non-flyers in decks that are built around flying, they've always felt bad, and I've wished they weren't in my deck every time. This already happened to me with Mirror Entity in this deck, and I don't want to really have much of a desire to experiment with them more. The only card I could maybe see myself playing is Metallic Mimic, but if I did play that card it would take the place of a support piece and not an angel, and I would justify it by considering it a support piece and not take a slot from an angel proper. The other reason I don't see myself playing these is more about flavor. This is an angels deck, and I want to play big flying angels with cool art, not creepy shapeshifters masquerading as the real thing. Changelings may be considered angels mechanically, but they also are not truly angels, and it feels wrong for the angel tribe in particular. I love some of the changelings I play in my Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow deck because it seems like ninjas and changelings go together perfectly, but not so much here. Of course, this latter reason is entirely subjective, and in general I try to build my decks as optimally as possible, but where it doesn't hurt the deck's strategy I like to keep my decks as flavorful as possible as that makes it more fun in my book! That being said, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade who likes these cards and prefers them to other angels, as I think they are all playable here. I hope this helps some of you as you plan and play the deck!
