Zndrsplt & Okaun - Flipping Awesome!
PLEASE NOTE: This is (as all good decks should be) an ever evolving work in progress thanks to the great comments from other tappedout users. Please check any "EDIT" remarks at the bottom of this description if the main description no longer makes sense as I might have moved some of the cards out.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. It's time to grab your best silver half-dollar and flip coins until you win! Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom and Okaun, Eye of Chaos are coin-flipping awesome.
This deck is creature-light and coin-flip heavy with a bunch of ways to really capitalize on the benefits of leaving things (mostly) to chance. Draw your deck like crazy then win with a huge Okaun, either dealing commander damage or just pinging everybody to death in one fell swoop.
Both commanders enable coin flips, but they also trigger when ANY coin flip is won. We will use this to our advantage to speed up our win. The biggest I've managed to get Okaun, Eye of Chaos with this deck so far is 5242880/3145728. It's safe to say I won that game.
Here's how it works.....
- Frenetic Efreet and Chance Encounter - This is a combo that has been around for a while, was errata'd away, and then brought back again! With Chance Encounter on the board you can use the Efreet for infinite coin flips, guaranteeing you will get yourself the necessary counters to win on your next upkeep!
- Chandra's Ignition - After you have Okaun on the board and you win 4 coin flips, he becomes a 48/48. Cast this and everyone's dead! Additionally you can take out a single player with this method using Fling , Soul's Fire , or Gravitic Punch .
- Ral Zarek - If you can get this guy to his ultimate, you're taking a lot of turns in a row. If you can't win from here, you weren't going to win anyway!
- Krark's Thumb - This artifact is absolutely key to winning all your coin flips. Having it on the board is vital and so a bunch of the rest of the deck is used to tutor for it, protect it, and get it back if it gets destroyed. See below for more info!
- Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar - If you've got one big Okaun on the board, and you can swing in at one enemy, then this guy makes them all die!
- Boompile and Goblin Bomb - They're a bit like a totally random Nevinyrral's Disk ! Hold up that threat to stall the opponents.
- Fiery Gambit - It's a weird way to flip more coins with some upsides!
- Game of Chaos - One opponent left? Let's see who can win a game of double-down gambling their life totals. Make sure you play with Krark's Thumb out!
- Goblin Archaeologist - A bit of coin-flip spot removal.
- Goblin Festival - More coin flips for ping damage.
- Goblin Traprunner - More coin flips and make a few tokens.
- Karplusan Minotaur - Cumulative upkeep coin flips! It gets better and better, as long as Krark's Thumb is out.
- Krark, the Thumbless - The main coin flip dude himself. He's looking for his thumb, but he'll copy some spells while he's at it.
- Planar Chaos - This is double-edged, however it can be a nice asymmetric effect if you have Krark's Thumb out.
- Squee's Revenge - As long as Zndrsplt is out, you're going to draw cards even if you don't make all your flips.
- Stitch in Time - An extra turn!!!
- Tavern Scoundrel - Lovely treasure tokens!
- Yusri, Fortune's Flame - Lots of coin flips, draw, and even casting stuff for free!
- Reverse Engineer - Classic blue draw.
- Gamble - The most on-theme and brilliant tutor in the format.
- Fabricate , Muddle the Mixture , and Whir of Invention - All brilliant artifact tutors.
- Inventors' Fair - Another way to grab your precious thumb!
- Arcane Signet , Fellwar Stone , Sol Ring , Izzet Signet , Commander's Sphere , Thought Vessel , Talisman of Creativity - All format staples, some also with card draw options.
- Gilded Lotus - A little expensive to cast, but great once it's down.
- Blasphemous Act - It's cheaper to cast the more you need it! I love this spell.
- Vandalblast - A great sweeper of artifacts (or cheap spot removal).
- Chaos Warp , Into the Roil , and Pongify - Both great spot removal in izzet colours.
- Fling , Gravitic Punch , and Soul's Fire - We can use these with a pumped Okaun to do some massive damage to creatures as well as players.
- Counterspell , Dispel , Negate , and Swan Song - All classic blue counterspells.
- Expel from Orazca - This acts like a poor-man's Cyclonic Rift for when you really need something specific gone.
- Darksteel Plate , Lightning Greaves , Swiftfoot Boots , Mask of Avacyn - We need to protect Okaun because people will see his sw0le self and get scared!
- O-Naginata , Sword of Vengeance , Whispersilk Cloak , and Trailblazer's Boots - "Trample" enablers for your big Okaun.
- Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer - Keep your Krark's Thumb safe and sound!
- Narset's Reversal - You can use this to repeat cast your single-target burn spells to take out more than one opponent!
- Footfall Crater - A handy way to get some repeatable trample & haste on our big beater himself.
- Strionic Resonator - Use this to get a double trigger from Zndrsplt or Okaun's combat step trigger and flip more coins!
- Mirrormade - At best this will make a second Krark's Thumb , but there will usually be something on the battlefield worth copying if not.

I was previously using a "shared cards folder" to enable the use of medium and high cost cards in multiple decks. Having decided to stop using this folder I have had to make some modifications to all of my decks to fit the cards in. I also took this opportunity to make a few minor tweaks to my decks, which are also included in this update.
