This is an enchantment based voltron deck built around the juggernaut that is Sigarda, Host of Herons. It is optimized for 1v1 against competitive decks, but also functions decently in 4-player casual pods. I mainly use Sigarda to introduce new players to the game. She is exceptionally powerful and straigt-forward to play, which is a good combination when getting someone into Commander.

I also use Sigarda to test changes I make to my more competitive decks, as she provides a reliable turn 4 cast - turn 7 kill clock in 1v1, and packs solid disruption against all archetypes. She has held her own versus competitive iterations of Animar, GAAIV, Brago, Azami, Teferi, Atraxa, and Oloro, and she absolutely slaughters unrefined deck-lists.

This deck relies on targeted hate cards like Aven Mindcensor, Torpor Orb, and Null Rod to buy time against combo decks, while buffing Sigarda with her favorite enchantments like Shield of the Oversoul, Battle Mastery, and Eldrazi Conscription, and swinging for 21 damage.

The deck also includes the standard Selesnya enchantress package with cards like Enchantress's Presence, Mesa Enchantress, and Argothian Enchantress to refuel the hand. Note: Femeref Enchantress is also a great choice for 4-player or games when you anticipate lots of spot/mass enchantment removal, but she doesn't do enough for 1v1 IMO.

I chose Sigarda over Uril, the Miststalker because I prefer the additional defensiveness she provides in her sacrifice clause, and I like that she has flying built in. Red does offer Runes of the Deus, so if you prefer a more aggressive voltron commander, Uril is undoubtedly a better choice. Both are strong in their own ways though. Personally, I'd choose Uril in a more casual setting and Sigarda in a more competitive one. Bruna, Light of Alabaster is also an interesting choice, albeit a much more glass-cannon one without any innate protection.

Uril's access to red also opens up additional land destruction spells like Jokulhaups if you are interested in this as a backup win condition. I went this route for a while with cards like Armageddon and Catastrophe, but found them less consistent than other cards and adjusted accordingly. Additionally, some people dislike playing against land destruction (can't imagine why), so keep this in mind before you attempt to make new friends at your LGS by casting Ravages of War on turn 5-6 after playing your commander the turn before.

Any questions - just ask.
