Friendly Token Spam with 21 Commander Damage for Desert.

  • Play Creatures that make Tokens when they ETB to double up the "offspring" ability for maximize tokens every turn.

  • Protect Zinnia. Swing with Zinnia, then do it again. Extra turns and extra combats will help utilize the Commander damage to knock out players before they get a response on their turn.

  • Focus cards that go wide, not big. Zinnia doesn't work if the creatures are higher than 1.

  • I've custom labeled the cards into categories, they should be pretty straightforward by their name. They can overlap, the best card often do.

  • Don't play cards that make a 1/1 every turn - i.e. cards that say "when you attack make a 1/1" or Planeswalkers that make 1/1s on an uptick. WHY - These sound good on paper, but broken down they are actually very poorly optimized. If for example, the card is a 3 or 4 drop, that means you aren't playing it until T3, but your commander is a 3 drop, so really you're not playing this until T4. Most games average 7 - 10 turns. So really this card really reads "4 mana make three to five 1/1s over the course of the whole game". And that's bad. making 3 tokens is not putting you in a game winning state. Creatures that make multiple - such as 1/1s that make another 1/1 on ETB that you then pay 2 to Offspring to make 2 more, are the gravy because that's X+2 mana: make 4 1/1s RIGHT NOW, THIS TURN. Planeswalker that make multiple 1/1s may be considered if the CMC is. not an absurd amount like 6 mana, where it would be more efficient to just play 2 creatures and Offspring them.
