Vesuva (Five color clone)

Commander / EDH

Note:This deck is my actual EDH deck, all cards in main board I do legitimately have and thus any changes are restricted by budget/time to find.

Primary Goal: To create a fun EDH deck that would be semi-viable no matter what it went against, without any abusive (or terribly expensive) combos. Winning is irrelevant if both myself and my opponent have fun with it. Higher focus on multiplayer

Secondary goal: Create a deck that challenges me as a player, the more on my toes I am, the better.

Theme = Vesuva: shapeshifters, illusions, things that transform or alter the game style in general, those are all fair game. Intentional infinite combos or unfun mechanics such as infect are not.

Commander is Cromat because he is a five color illusion. As of yet, there are no five color partner commanders available, but if that changes (and it fits), I may switch to that.

===========================================

Strengths: Multiplayer, twin headed dragon, threat management.

Weaknesses: 1v1, goblin style aggro, higher mana curve

==========================================

Notable plays/cards (these are things I've found through various games by accident usually):

Vesuvan doppleganger can copy itself, it gains another instance of its ability each time it does. It also triggers dismisss into dream.

Copying Manlands for mana acceleration. (progenitor mimic is great for this)

Using Body double to copy progenitor mimic or dack's duplicant in grave which then enters as the intended creature.

Copy ectoparasite with a clone. Upon death it goes into suspend and I get a clone with some added +1/+1 at a later date

Updates Add

Removed curse of cabal for chronomantic escape since it was mildly useful and fit the theme better.

Removed Realmwrite for Stunt double. Originally he was there because of my poor mana base, after addressing that issue, I no longer need him and the flash clone is better.

Renamed from Mirror Match to Vesuva. Everything should be thematically fit in that they either change form, copy, or (as in the case of Edric) is just generally something that seems like it would belong there.

Play testing has put me at about a 50/50 win rate in multiplayer, which is exactly where I want it. Not too strong or too weak, such that it's not unfun to play against. Will still make edits as I see them, but I think this is finally complete (after 4 years of adjustments)
