Maybeboard

Other (99)

A deck centered around dealing big damage to your own creatures using things like Blasphemous Act or Shivan Meteor and profiting from it.

Donna Noble is the relevant commander of the pair, but you can swap out The Eleventh Doctor for another UW Doctor if you like. I don't recommend dropping white altogether, but the Tenth Doctor plays nice with the deck's theme and a doctor with G such as the Fugitive Doctor or the Sixth Doctor might be an interesting way to take it. (There are plenty of Hornet's Nest types in green you could use as well)

EDIT: You can have your cake and eat it too with The Fourteenth Doctor, whose Secret Lair was not revealed when I made this deck originally.

The central intent is to turn large damage to creatures into damage to opponents. For instance have a Spitemare or Boros Reckoner out, play Blasphemous Act or Shivan Meteor and respond with Arcbond to deal 13 to each player and another 13 to any survivors. The rest of the deck is a support package to help you and your creatures live through the combo or make the combo kill everybody via damage amplification.

Use Soulfire Grand Master to get tons of life off of Blasphemous Act, and possibly recur it. This kills the Grand Master.

Use Coalhauler Swine to deal 13 to everybody, including yourself.

Use Selfless Spirit to protect your creatures through a boardwipe, including your own Blasphemous Act.

Use Swans of Bryn Argoll or Illusory Ambusher to draw a ton of cards.

There is an unlikely but possible arbitrarily large damage combo. It requires the a damage amplifier such as Dictate of the Twin Gods, indestructibility such as from Darksteel Plate, any damage source and one of the creatures that can hit a creature or a player such as Boros Reckoner or Spitemare. Hit the creature with any form of damage and target itself with its ability. The damage will amplify each time you do so. Once you've made it high enough, use it to kill a player. Donna's soulbond could replace the damage amplifier by dealing damage to opponent each time it cycles.

Since we're dealing huge damage, Aegar and Toralf are our buddies, and they love being out together and both love Blasphemous Act and other red damage wraths.

Based on some other decks in the same theme I've made: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/22-03-15-Qaw-blasphemous-reckoner/ and https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/spite-blasphemy/
