Boros aggro deck with spells that pump and protect your army, draw cards, give you life, and Feather just keeps getting those spells back again and again. Some creatures have synergies (Heroic abilities) that make them or your army stronger when they are targeted by a spell.

It's nice to have Sunforger on the field so you can find an instant you need, mostly protection instants are useful. And then you can cast it repeatedly with Feather's ability.

Maybe-board contains a bunch of other instants that you can replace in the deck to have some variety.

Update 1 - April 2021

Removed Anax, Hardened in the Forge, Bolt Hound, Castle Embereth, Eternal Dragon, and Intimidation Bolt due to no synergy with the deck. Instead of them I added Battlefield Forge and Sol Ring to have more mana for instants, Double Vision because it seems great for this deck, then Emerge Unscathed and Swiftfoot Boots to have more protection for Feather. Moved Hero of the Nyxborn to Maybeboard and added Winds of Abandon as another removal instead.

Replaced Crib Swap with Angelic Purge because it can target more permanent types, Boros Cluestone with Thought Vessel, and added Seize the Day and Mavinda, Students' Advocate instead of Tajic, Legion's Edge and Charmbreaker Devils. Replaced Ash Barrens with Furycalm Snarl.

Replaced Torbran, Thane of Red Fell with Showdown of the Skalds. Replaced one Mountain with Spectator Seating.

Update 2 - August 2021

Replaced one Plains with Arid Mesa, Akroan Crusader with Oreskos Explorer, Crimson Wisps with Blacksmith's Skill, and Phalanx Tactics with Blade Historian.

Update 3 - October 2021

Replaced Vanguard of Brimaz with Loyal Warhound because the 1/1 cats didn't help me much and I needed more mana. Replaced Soul Sear with Angelfire Ignition and Emerge Unscathed with Tithe. Replaced Favored Hoplite with Cloud Key, and Evolving Wilds with Reliquary Tower.

Added Day of Judgment and Mob Rule to maybeboard.

Update 4 - November 2021

Replaced two Mountains with Sundown Pass and Plateau. Replaced Browbeat with Crimson Wisps, Fabled Hero with Leonin Lightscribe, Healer's Hawk with Goldspan Dragon, and Response / Resurgence with Eerie Interlude. Replaced Commander's Sphere and Angel of Sanctions with Birgi, God of Storytelling and Smothering Tithe that could make a lot more mana for me.

Added Adamant Will, Valorous Stance, Rip Apart, Spellbook, and Dawn Charm to Maybeboard.

Update 5 - May 2022

Replaced Wind-Scarred Crag with Sacred Foundry. This deck works best with Feather and does not need so many other creatures. So I removed Burning Prophet, Labyrinth Champion, Oreskos Explorer, and Wingsteed Rider, and added Psychotic Fury, Show of Confidence, Unleash Fury, and Swords to Plowshares instead.

Added Pearl Medallion, Beaming Defiance, Infuriate, Boon of Safety, Chain Reaction, and Depopulate to maybeboard.

Update 6 - June 2022

Again I experienced that Feather is what makes this deck strong, by removing opponents with commander damage, so I removed another bunch of other small creatures: Akroan Skyguard, Dreadhorde Arcanist - not useful much, I don't need his ability when Feather is making my spells come back, Phalanx Leader - I'm not going wide often with this deck so there is no good use for splash counters, Tethmos High Priest - after removing a lot of creatures from this deck, his ability is becoming less useful, also most of the creatures get usually exiled anyway, Runaway Steam-Kin - I tested if this can make me mana for casting more spells, but I have not experienced any impact, also I have more white spells now. Cards that I added instead: Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion - double strike is nice with Feather, Boon of Safety - nice combo with board wipes, By Force because artifacts are plentiful in EDH these days, Slash the Ranks to kill all creatures but keep Feather, and Aurelia's Fury because I can reuse it with Feather if I target one of my creatures to deal one damage to it.

Added Demolition Field, Decanter of Endless Water, Long Road Home, and Pearl Medallion to maybeboard.

Update 7 - June 2024

I replaced Wrath of God with Crib Swap, because I have other 2 board wipes that allow me to keep my Feather alive, and Double Cleave with Temur Battle Rage, which also might give trample. Replaced one Mountain with Arena of Glory, Brute Strength with Titan's Strength, which is cheaper and also gives me scry, and Unleash Fury with Legion Leadership, which can also be land.

Update 8 - March 2025

Replaced:

Maybe-board: Added Bothersome Quasit, Bulk Up, Coruscation Mage, Fiery Inscription, Kessig Flamebreather, Lambholt Raconteur, Storm-Kiln Artist, Thermo-Alchemist, and Unruly Catapult.

Update 9 - September 2025

Replaced:

Maybe-board: Added Aligned Heart, Blazing Crescendo, Brigone, Soldier of Meletis, Clarion Spirit, and Might of the Meek.

Update 10 - March 2026

I replaced:

Maybeboard: Added Ancestor's Aid, Fists of Flame, Hexing Squelcher, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Reckless Ransacking, Restoration Magic, Samut's Sprint, Shatterskull Smashing.
