Black Waltz No. 3 looks pretty cool. I’ve never seen this one before.

I know that Fiery Inscription is in the maybe board, but I think it is pretty sold.

I realize that Chaos Warp is a risk, but I love that card. It spices up gameplay.

How do you feel about Kessig Flamebreather?

I am very surprised to see that there is no thread yet for discussing the upcoming Foundations set, so I am making such a thread.

I shall not write and elaborate introduction, but there are many cards in that set in which I am very interested; High Fae Trickster is very powerful, and I intend to put it into nearly all of my EDH decks that contain the color blue (Tidal Barracuda and Leyline of Anticipation are still good, in certain decks); I simply must find a way to put perforating artist into my decks that contain the colors red and black; and Scrawling Crawler is an obvious inclusion for my Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck. Is Firespitter Whelp worth the 1 additional mana over Kessig Flamebreather for it to have flying?

Two cards that could have been good, if not for very minor and ridiculous drawbacks, are ravenous amulet and wardens of the cycle; in the case of the wardens, I undersand that WotC had their ability trigger only on their controller's end step, to avoid rendering Deathreap Ritual completely obsolete, but why is the first ability of the amulet usable only as a sorcery, when the second ability can be used as an instant? That severely limits its utility.

What does everyone else here say about this set? Are you excited for Foundations? What are you hoping to see, from it? I am very eager to begin discussion of this set!

Dramatic Scepter combo (Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter ) could be a wincon with the already present Professor Onyx, Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, Lambholt Raconteur  ^Flip, Ovika, Enigma Goliath, or Fiery Inscription.

Also it might be cool to create pseudo-Battered Golems by combining cards like Blisterspit Gremlin, Dwarven Patrol, and Nettle Drone with cards like Liquimetal Torque, Liquimetal Coating, and Ashnod's Transmogrant.

You might consider these too: Kessig Flamebreather, Lambholt Raconteur  ^Flip, Keen Sense, Snake Umbra, Illusionist's Bracers, Battlemage's Bracers, Cemetery Prowler

Some ideas:

• Angelic Intervention/Apostle's Blessing: some more protection stuff that makes it easier for Feather to connect against your opponents.
• Guttersnipe/Fiery Inscription: these will deal a lot of damage in a deck like yours. Same goes for Firebrand Archer and Kessig Flamebreather btw, I'm curious as to why you didn't mainboard these.
• Sunforger: makes for an incredibly handy tutor, so that your instant/sorcery collection can be handled as somewhat of a toolbox for Feather. I'm not sure if this breaks your 1 dollar maximum per card though ...
• Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion: a great utility land in your deck, especially in the later stages of games when mana becomes more abundant.
• Fellwar Stone/Marble Diamond/Fire Diamond: some nice, cheap additional mana rocks; Fellwar is especially useful when playing against more than one opponent.

Don't need Command tower. It is a mono color deck. Thermo-Alchemist and Kessig Flamebreather are both great cheap creatures that are good at getting damage needed to win. Do you have any effects like Birgi?
