Cheap Horobi, Death's Wail deck.

You try to put him into play, and then threaten your opponnent of destroying their fun. Most cards of this deck are under 5$. Most of the deck is really cheap except Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, it could easily be an extra Swamp. And Touch of Darkness. its a 15$ Legend card that act as a 1 mana Wrath in this deck. Its so unique and wierd in this deck, the card is almost unplayable anywhere else.

Rest of the deck is either Ramp, Draws, kill spells that work really well in Horobi, reanimate/or some fringe protection. Since our General gonna die a lot, we should often reanimate him to evade the taxes.

UPDATE MARCH 2024 : The budget increased a little bit, we are closer to 150$ now. I played the deck about 8-10 time. Some cards were a bit too bad. I added a bit more "indestructible" creatures to close game faster and removed a couple of fringe kill spells since then. Its fun to lock the table but a 4/4 flying is not enough to end the games, i needed more critters.

UPDATE APRIL 2024 : I changed Demon of Dark Schemes for Massacre Wurm. I was always trying to play it at 9 mana since i wanted to be sure the get the "value" out of it. Massacre Wurm is a static clock and can be played at 6 mana. It can kill an opponent on the spot. Its way better than reanimating thier random fattie at turn 7-9.

Bontu the Glorified was too clunky to get online. Morbid Opportunist can draw a lot of cards each turn. It doesn't lose me life points.

I added a couple of spot removals that deal with indestructible and other harder to remove cards : Baleful Mastery is an excellent political tool at 2 mana or a 2 mana murder when Horobi is on the field, Dismember is modal removal that get under Indestructible sometime. Activated Sleeper is sometime hard to get online... Unspeakable Symbol As much as i like to troll with that on the table... its quite life intensive. Dismenber is a better alternative

Added a bit more Draw Mind's Eye and Phyrexian Arena. I often reach the long game where i can kill anything in sight or where i c an get creative with the politics. Mind's Eye seems extremly good in this setup. i removed the newley added Yahenni, Undying Partisan that was not that exciting. i don't play that many creature to protect it. And i upgraded one of the bad "sign in blood" effect Succumb to Temptation.

UPDATE MAY 2024 : Updating the draw spells : removing bad Sign in Blood effects like Blood Pact for better new draw spells. Insatiable Avarice will often be a draw 3 lose 3 making it a Ancient Craving for BBB. Its already good enough but its also a Vampiric Tutor. Can't believe this card is 4$

Grave Betrayal got axed because its drawing too much hate against me andi its expensive. You play it and your opponents are scandalized by its effect once they read it and you become the ultimate Archenemy. Necromantic Selection is one of the only way to steal a opponent Commander. i like the fact that i can "destroy" the game a someone who relly a bit too much on their gen.

Erebos, Bleak-Hearted wasnt so impresive when i tried it. Kaervek, the Punisher is basically made for this deck. let me tell you that this deck commit A LOT of crime! its basically a static card:Yawgmoth Will for my Deck.

Reanimate got cheap with the reprint. And Profane Command is XBB destroy x Creature + can reanime or fireball 1 opponent. Archpriest of Shadows, Witch-king of Angmar but were not that impresive. Either irrelavent by the time i cast them or too hard to turn "online"
