I would appreciate your input very much. This is a combo/control deck - I tried to be not oppressive, so other's could play magic as well, but strong enough to win the game. Even though it's a combo deck, I didn't add a lot of tutors, in order to have more "unique" games (read less consistant, higher variance). I sometimes picked a "fun" card over the arguably stronger one and I left out quite a few expensive cards. If you have suggestions to move the deck more towards competitive, I would be interested to hear them though. I didn't see a Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis list that could keep up with a competitive deck list yet - if you have one let me know!

In the following section I will try to give some reasons for the lands in the "Core Lands" category. I left the "Flexible Lands" category filled with quite a few basics on purpose. Just put in whatever lands you can afford. I will put in some fetches and shocks, since I don't have Volcanic Island and friends.

Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis
The kings of Meletis produce a continuous resource advantage over our opponents for as long as we have lands in hand and Karoo lands help achieve exactly that.

ETB Lands
Thinking about Karoo lands the modern 'amulet bloom' lists come to mind. Amulet of Vigor certainly deserves a spot in this list, but it would be hard to build around it. Instead, I expanded on the idea to use ETB lands (Temple of Enlightenment), which I can get multiple uses out of.

Land Untap Effects
Karoo lands tap for two mana, like islands do after casting High Tide. From the legacy 'spiral tide' lists we learn, that land untap effects are very powerful with High Tide. Turnabout , Time Spiral, but also Voyaging Satyr gain a lot of value with lands that tap for two mana.

tl;dr: We make the mana base worse by adding Karoo lands to gain value from our commander, from using scry lands multiple times and most importantly land untap effects.

Flooded Grove , Cascade Bluffs and Mystic Gate are probably worth mentioning. If we achieve infinite mana with Freed from the Real, we can produce infinite blue mana with these lands, which allows us to untap lands of all colours.

In the following list I will use Voyaging Satyr as a representative for all untap guys and I assume I have a bounce land on board (we got at least 6 bounce lands and Crop Rotation).

Jeskai Ascendancy combos:
- Jeskai Ascendancy + Sprout Swarm: Infinite spells cast, infinite loot, infinite creatures (if we manage to get to 5 creatures)
- Jeskai Ascendancy + Sprout Swarm + Voyaging Satyr : Same as above, but with infinite mana as well.
- Jeskai Ascendancy + Sprout Swarm + Zhur-Taa Druid: Same as above, but with infinite damage as well.
- Jeskai Ascendancy + Voyaging Satyr · 3 (untap for 6 mana) + Capsize: Infinite spells cast, infinite loot, one sided board clear (all permanents)

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal combos:
- Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Voyaging Satyr : Infinite spells cast, potentially infinite mana.
- Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Voyaging Satyr + Bonded Fetch : Same as above, but with infinite loot as well.
- Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + Voyaging Satyr + Zhur-Taa Druid: Infinite spells cast, infinite mana, infinite damage.

Isochron Scepter + Benefactor's Draught + Kiora's Follower / Fatestitcher: Infinite draws, many spells, possibly a lot of mana.

Freed from the Real + Voyaging Satyr combo: Infinite mana > Staff of Domination

Mystic Confluence + Eternal Witness / Archaeomancer: Fun mana dump.

There is a small "subtheme": Sunforger. I put in some answers that can be grabbed by the Sunforger. Most of them would probably be in here anyways - Bant Charm or Naya Charm are quite good and Comeuppance or Master Warcraft are fun to play. I wanted to try out Sunforger, but this might not be the perfect shell for it. I'm a bit concerned about the low creature count to equip it on. What's your opinion?

Drift of Phantasms: Get's almost everything - Sunforger, Freed from the Real, Jeskai Ascendancy , Capsize, Bonded Fetch , Fires of Yavimaya, Eternal Witness and some of the untappers.
Muddle the Mixture: Grabs the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal combo and can get Sprout Swarm.
Enlightened Tutor: Get's everything for the combos but the untap creatures.
Mystical Tutor: We have a lot of answers we can get with this and it searches for Sprout Swarm.
Wargate: Get's everything for the combos but Dramatic Reversal or Sprout Swarm.Fabricate: Get's Isochron Scepter, Aetherflux Reservoir or Thousand-Year Elixir for the combos.
Trinket Mage: Get's Amulet of Vigor or Meekstone.

Some cards I would put in, but I don't have them and don't want to spend the money on them right now.
All the old dual lands like Volcanic Island!
- Azusa, Lost but Seeking
- Bloom Tender
- Boseiju, Who Shelters All
- Candelabra of Tawnos
- Force of Will
- Imperial Recruiter
- Oracle of Mul Daya
- Sensei's Divining Top
- Sylvan Library
- Snapcaster Mage
- Time Spiral (this one I will try to get)
- Treachery
Maybe: Gaea's Cradle or Serra's Sanctum

Alternative Win Conditions:
- Brain Freeze: Would be an alternative to Aetherflux Reservoir.
- Helix Pinnacle: Would also work very well with the infinite mana combos, but Staff of Domination does something without infinite mana and I somehow dislike the card.
- Insurrection: Very fun but certainly not a guaranteed win condition.

Draw / Recursion:
- Archaeomancer
- Past in Flames: Very powerful, but doesn't play well with other recursion.
- Regrowth: Eternal Witness alternative, recursion with Goblin Dark-Dwellers, Archaeomancer or Jace, Telepath Unbound  .
- Seer's Sundial : Will trigger a lot, but seems a bit expensive.

Answers:
- Return to Dust: Flexible, Sunforger target.
- Vandalblast: X for 1, but very narrow.
- Supreme Verdict / Rout: I don't know if I need more board wipes.
- Soratami Savant: The moonfolk tribe fits quite well to the deck, but it might be a bit inefficiant.
- Constant Mists: Repeatable fog, could trigger Jeskai Ascendancy a few times if need be.
- Wild Ricochet : It's just a fun spell and is a Sunforger target. Hope to find some room for it.
- Counterflux: Alternative to Wild Ricochet . Ricochet is just more fun :D
- Energy Arc : Can combo in the same way as Benefactor's Draught

Ramp:
- Amulet of Vigor: It was in the deck, but it didn't do enough if it wasn't in the start hand.
- Juniper Order Druid : If I need another land untapper.
- Magus of the Candelabra: Needs two Karoo lands to be as valuable as Voyaging Satyr , but allows for better mana fixing in combos.
- Mana Reflection: Extremely powerful ramp, but is it necessary?
- Turnabout : Ritual with some flexibility.
- Dryad Arbor: Gets untapped by Jeskai Ascendancy , Benefactor's Draught (or Energy Arc ) but is very vulnerable.

Tutors:
- Merchant Scroll: Had it in, but too many tutors made the deck a bit boring.
- Sterling Grove: Same as above.
- Mystical Tutor: Same as above.
- Muddle the Mixture: Same as above.
- Bring to Light: The only creature tutor I considered so far, since it can also find all the Sunforger spells.
- Idyllic Tutor: Seems too narrow and costs quite a bit of money.
- Plea for Guidance: A bit expensive mana wise.
- Trophy Mage / Trinket Mage

Other Stuff:
- Khalni Garden: Chump blocker and help for Sprout Swarm, probably not good enough.
- Lightning Greaves
- Anger
- Illusionist's Bracers: Awesome with Fate Stitcher or Kiora's Follower!!!

If I had Sensei's Divining Top, Future Sight and Magus of the Future might be a cool addition. Helm of Awakening or Cloud Key would make for a combo. They also work well with the scry lands.

We could keep the mana base and replace the whole Voyaging Satyr + Jeskai Ascendancy package with a Cloud of Faeries + blink package. Palinchron, Pestermite, Deceiver Exarch , Panharmonicon, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Deadeye Navigator, Eldrazi Displacer, Intruder Alarm, etc. Combining blink from / with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker seems exciting, but would probably be quite a bit more expensive.

My initial deck idea was animating lands instead of the Voyaging Satyr guys. I loved the Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper + Jeskai Ascendancy combo in standard and combining it with Living Plane, Natural Affinity, etc sounded like a lot of fun to me. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite would be a highlight, she is brutal with global land animation. But Living Plane is just way too expensive for such a narrow card. If someone builds a list, send me a link!

And there are a lot of group hug and landfall deck lists on this site. But those strategies don't appeal to me.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me!
